My name is Dedra and I am vaccine injured. Before my injury, I worked In the operating room as a surgical tech for about 10 years and switched jobs, taking a huge pay cut and working more hours so I could avoid the vaccine. I worked from home as a fraud MSR, working at home for a credit union. They began pressuring us, saying if we didn’t get it and have our vaccination card on file, we would possibly have to start testing weekly from now on (just in case we needed to come on campus) and we would be responsible for paying for it, our insurance would also increase by nearly $100 a month. These are just a few things told to us to advance us to get vaccinated. I have always worked hard to make sure my family had what it needed and wanted, I had changed jobs already to avoid this and we were just making ends meet, everything in my body told me not to get it but I didn’t want to loose my job and everyone was pushing it and sadly, I gave in. I took it and I am so sick I can’t work and even lost that job. They wouldn’t give me my short and long term disability and I’m still fighting to get that and any from of disability. Vaccine injured are being shunned, ignored, and it feels like they are just waiting for us to slowly pass. I am truly disabled, like so many of us, I wish I could work! It doesn’t feel good to lay in bed because your heart rate goes crazy when you stand, or there’s pain all over for just standing less than 5 minutes, or I’m seizing. It makes me sad I cannot work and provide for my family. I pray we all get the help we need and especially the Medical help to save as many lives as we can.
