Campaign funds will be received by Patriots Legal Defense Fund, Inc.
J6 political prisoner and former conservative talk radio show host Darrell Neely was released from federal custody in July after serving over 3 years of pre-trial detention in the Washington Correctional Treatment facility, then a bid in a medium correctional institution in West Virginia.
In addition to putting Darrell up in a hotel from August 17 until now, and then another one until he finds an apartment, we have had to spend about $1500 more than anticipated to pay for a trip to the county of his birth to get a replacement birth certificate and then to Washington, D.C,. the last place he had a valid driver's license. It is easier to get a replacement driver's license than start all over in a new State and have to prove his address, identity, etc.
However, this has turned into almost a full-time job by the Patriot's Legal Defense Fund and caring reporter Alicia Powe. The Merrick Garland Department of Injustice is dumping January 6 defendants who have served their sentences on the street with no ID or personal property. Unlike what you see in the movies, everything is confiscated.
When we tried to send him $1,000 from donations, he was refused. The prison never returned his ID, so they could not confirm his identity.
As a result, the Fund has been constantly arranging Uber trips as he looks for apartments and jobs. He had no clothes to apply to jobs, so we had to get him to the store. We've had to pay on credit card for very expensive Door Dash food deliveries. It's been like a constant job of travel agent.
But Darrell has been so happy after what he has been through having a place to stay and good food.
He applied to 10 apartment complexes, which is very hard because he now has a criminal record and one very controversial among some people. Each application cost application fees, one as much as $175.
He has applied to low-pay, short-term jobs and got one home improvement job with a restaurant job waiting in the wings. Its' very hard to find employers sympathetic to January 6 demonstrators just released from prison. (After having to take the trip to DC, he's not sure he will still have the job but he had to get photo identification from the DMV there no matter what.)
We had to get Neely a cell phone. He applied for Obama's flip phone and was rejected.
He has had to walk a lot, and does not complain.
He is on his way back to Greensboro now. (He was released from that court so he is obligated to stay near his Probation Officer in the Middle District of N.C. unless a transfer is approved.)
He is taking a 1:30 AM bus after sleeping in the bus station in Virginia and will travel all night in an upright seat without being able to sleep. But without ID (it's coming in the mail) the bus was his only option.
Neely was sleeping under a bridge in North Carolina when Gateway Pundit supporters rallied to help him.
Donations are being used to provide Neely with a roof over his head for the time being as he re-establishes his career and adapts to newfound freedom while institutionalized. We also have to start some compensation for all the work that we never expected.
And yes we will be looking into a class action lawsuit against Merrick Garland's Bureau of Prisons for stealing and destroying personal property like IDs, wallets, phones, etc.
The legal defense fund has also incurred a lot of expenses, including the Executive Director losing time on his own job and risking falling behind on his bills. Alicia Powe drove all the way down to Greensboro, NC to drive Darrell up to Washington, D.C. Again, without photo ID there is almost nothing you can do. Even AMTRAK or hotels require ID.
Neely was unprecedentedly sentenced to prison after being convicted of misdemeanors including Theft of Government Property; Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building, Disorderly and Disruptive Conduct in a Restricted Building, Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct in a Capitol Building, Parading, Demonstrating, or Picketing in a Capitol Building according to the U.S. Department of Justice for peacefully walking through the Capitol building and taking a puff from a marijuana joint he was handed among the massive crowd.
(Notice that no property was ever missing from the US Capitol. It's a phony charge.)
Neely spent most of his prison term in lockdown as inmates within the understaffed facility routinely stab each other, often to death over petty disputes and brewing racial tensions.
He was slated to reside with a family member. But he realized days after moving in with the individual he thought was family was the one who tipped the FBI about his alleged "role in the Capitol riot" preceding the predawn raid in which he was dragged away to the gulags by the government's Joint Terrorism Task for peacefully demonstrating the 2020 presidential election results.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Neely's prison release after almost 4 years of torture he has suffered at the hands of Biden's New World Order regime.
The family member, who vowed to help the former radio talk show host with "getting back on his feet" following his release immediately deactivated his GSG account following the publication of the article https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/j6-political-hostage-darrell-neely-released-prison-after/ and threatened to call authorities on him. (For what we cannot imagine.)
Neely resigned to accommodation at a homeless shelter, where he found himself surrounded by mentally ill anti-Trump newly released convicts and warned newly released J6ers are not welcome at the government's "rehabilitation" facilities.
Shortly after police ignited flash bombs among the crowd on January 6, deadly tear gas and indiscriminately shooting people in the face and head with less-than-lethal munitions during the moderately peaceful J6 protest, a woman identified by Sedition Hunters as #PinkBeret grabbed Neely by the hand and flirtatiously provoked him into escorting her through the Capitol building.
The beautiful French femme fatale in her pink outfit entered the Capitol holding Neely's hand to make it look like she was a Trump supporter. Once inside, she disappeared. Clearly she was an undercover operative. She is now misisng.
PinkBeret, donning a pink beret, pink coat, pink dress and pink high heels, mysteriously fled the country following the riot -- reportedly to Ukraine. Like Ray Epps, and other suspected government plants or Confidential Human Sources, PinkBeret will likely face no repercussions for instigating everyday Americans into violating the law recently struck down by the Supreme Court.
Thank you for your support and unwavering Faith.
God Bless,
on behalf of homeless American Patriot and J6er Darrel Neely.
NOTE: The Patriot's Legal Defense Fund agreed to help especially because Darrel currently does not have access to the resources to re-establish a bank account and handle this himself. The Fund will review the appropriateness of expenditures which is our legal obligation to the IRS and otherwise, probably paying directly for Darrel's expenses by credit card or documenting the expenditures. Again, that's only because we have to, not to make any difficulties for Darrel.
* NOTE that the credit card processing for GiveSendGo charges GiveSendGo and therefore the Patriot's Legal Defense Fund 2.7% + 30 cents. That's just the cost of credit card / debit card use. We were paying 4% to GiveSendGo.
If you would like to send a check or money order or the like to avoid any fees, such as a large donation, please do not hesitate to inquire. We have set up a system for checks, money orders, even cash for the shy donors to go DIRECTLY TO THE BANK and not be handled by anyone else and be directly deposited without anyone but the bank touching it. HOWEVER YOU MUST TELL US THAT IT IS FOR DARREL because there is also other activity happening with the Fund. That way we can be sure it gets to the right project. EMAIL: exec.dir@patriotslegaldefense.org
At GiveSendGo, it is clear and visible who the donation is for, so you don't have to worry about that. That's one reason we are using GiveSendGo instead of general donations to the Fund, to clearly track who it is for.

GOD BE WITH YOU.
Praying for you.
Praying for you and the thousands abused by this facist democrat government. Praying Trump will free the imprisoned J6er's who are wrongfully jailed, and provide restitutions to you who deserve it. I also hope he will provide retributions to those who abused you so. If crime is not punished, it spreads.
God bless you and I pray that your life will become normal again soon.
God bless you Darrell
What happened to you was a travesty and I can only hope those responsible receive the justice they deserve. Keep your head up. You are in the thoughts and prayers of millions.
It is time to sue them. Instead of violence against our aggressors we sue for equity. Think millions! Not for Greed but to help others that find themselves in a predicament. The Judge, Prosecutors, Jury if you can get names, guards, warden, Lt. warden. Sue Congress for relief. For the Constitution states: Congress controls DC, why is Congress doing this? Seek a constitutional lawyer.
Ask for work from nearby churches. May God bless you during and after this difficult transitional period. Know that you are loved and prayed for.
God bless you sir. I wish I could send you more. Praying for you 🙏
Things will look up.
Thank you for loving our country. Best of luck to you now going forward. God Bless You.
Hang in there I believe Justice is coming!
Darrell, Our hearts are with you, and our prayers, too. Praying the Lord will bless you continually!
Praying for all J6ers!!
I would love to contribute more but am retired. Will keep you in prayers and if you love the Lord encourage you never stop praying, never give up hope. I recently reread the book of Job, it made me more grateful for every blessing. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Even though Darrell Neely grew up in Johnston County and knows someone who works in the Johnston County Register of Deeds, Vital Records office, from childhood -- so they know him, Darrell just got a letter returning his check for the fee and his application to get a copy of his birth certificate. They said without a driver's license they can't send him a copy of his birth certificate. Washington, D.C. said last week they would take 2 weeks to mail him a replacement driver's license. So Darrell may need to take another trip back across the State -- without having a car, by bus or train, to keep trying to get a copy of his birth certificate.
