Imagine moving into a new home and a few weeks later a hurricane hits. You haven't even unpacked, and your belongings are ruined.
One of my best friends and favorite authors, Dani Pettrey, and her family recently moved to Florida. Hurricane Helene destroyed 95% of their possessions and both of their vehicles. It will take months for their home to be repaired, and, in the meantime, they need to replace everything.
Dani is so generous to the writing community, always speaking to groups and mentoring writers.

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for your generosity and prayers. As of October 8th, Dani and her family have had to evacuate their temporary lodgings due to Hurricane Milton. They are safe, but the expenses continue to mount. She's extremely grateful to each and every one of you. Your donations will help with their mounting expenses, not to mention many costs that aren't covered by insurance. Your prayers are vital.
I truly can't thank you enough for blessing Dani during this time. We have a God who provides--and you're the instrument He's using at this time. God bless you!!
