Update:

We still are in need and are not getting any appointments due to inability to make payment. We're close and out of time. Anything helps. Last week of March to 1st week of April is the due date but we have to make payments before then.

A couple of months ago we found out that Claire was pregnant. For months we did not know, as Claire has been on functional medicine treatment and HRT. She believed that everything she was going through was pre-menopause. We didn't expect to find out she was in fact at least in her second trimester. She was so healthy she didn't feel what she considered normal symptoms of pregnancy - and having just turned 40 and being on HRT she never expected to be. Our holistic doctor informed her that it was likely due to her functional medicine treatment that she didn't feel the first trimester symptoms as you'd expect to.

We're glad that we will get another chance at adding another child to our current family of four. However, we only have one income as Claire has stayed home while i work. We homeschool and Claire has not worked in 11 years in order to make this possible. We've lived frugally to achieve this.

In 2020 I lost my job and have not had medical insurance since. Any time we've had to get treatment we've paid out of pocket. It hasn't been much thankfully. With this, though, we don't have enough money to cover the expense of the birth. We've decided to forgo the emergency room and have a home birth, which is what Claire desires after what we've dealt with since 2020.

But it's late and we only have until March when Claire is 36 weeks. I owe $8,000 more to the midwife. This is not only what Claire desires but is also the cheapest option for us instead of an emergency room visit with no medical insurance.

This has been difficult for me. I did not want to come to thus point and have to ask for help. However, I know that I need it and know that people out there will help if you ask.

I take pride in providing for my family. I don't like asking for assistance but I have no choice here. I need the help. I don't have the money to pay for our birth. In fact, we owe a payment before the end of December.

I'm putting this as a monthly goal of 2000 because this is what we need to continue services and not breach contract. We've already been paying but we need all the help we can get. If we get everything done beforehand, which we're uncertain right now, I'll discontinue the campaign so others can have their needs seen and met.

Please prayerfully consider donating and helping us to reach this monthly. We don't have much time and of course we're doing everything we can to meet our responsibilities. We're just in a tough position right now and need help.
