Empower Camille to Beat Breast Cancer

Courage Unveiled:  A Journey of Hope, Healing and Victory!

Our youngest sister, Camille Angelle Bulliard, age 51, was diagnosed in November 2023 with an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer. Her siblings are launching this campaign to first, ask for your deepest prayers as she embarks on this very difficult and brutal path, and second, to humbly ask you to join us by contributing financially to offset medical expenses not covered by insurance such as alternative therapies known to improve outcomes. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference!

Who is Camille:

Camille is the youngest of eight children, born on the Bayou Teche in Saint Martinville, Louisiana. She had a robust young adult life including an extraordinary experience as an LSU Golden Girl, following her dreams of living and working in New York City and Los Angeles, then earning her MFA in Theatre at SMU, Dallas, TX. Today, she is an Associate Professor of Theatre at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), lives in Youngsville, Louisiana with her lifelong partner David and is the mother of their two young children, Sophia (10) and Roman (7). She was embracing her best life when the devastating news of breast cancer came her way. Camille is one of the strongest, most selfless people we know and is always there to lend her love and support to anyone who needs it; on campus, in social circles and at home. Now she needs our help and yours! Those of you who know Camille, know what an extraordinary human being she is.

Her Diagnosis: Invasive Ductile Carcinoma HER2+, Stage 3

In April 2023, Camille had her annual breast mammography. She was asked to repeat the exam the following month, May 2023, and she was informed it was “normal”. In late summer/early fall of 2023, things took a drastic turn and Camille noticed changes to her right breast. After a series of comprehensive tests in the pursuit of a diagnosis, navigating a labyrinth of medical examinations, biopsies and consultations, she was informed on November 9, 2023 that she had aggressive Invasive Ductile Carcinoma HER2+, Stage 3. She was devastated, terrified and confused. Her mammogram test was read as “normal” just 6 months earlier! Her strength in facing this diagnosis is admirable and is the driving force behind our efforts to help her with the unexpected and unplanned expenses that we know are ahead of her.

Treatment Plan: Conventional and Alternative – Details in next update…

Easing the Financial Burden:  The costs of medical treatments, prescriptions, alternative therapies and other related expenses are mounting. In the spirit of love, community, and shared humanity, we are humbly reaching out to ask for your support and prayers. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact. Your generosity will directly help alleviate the financial burden on her family, allowing she and David to focus on her treatments and recovery and maintain normalcy for Sophia and Roman.

With heartfelt appreciation from Camille’s parents and siblings,

Ed & Jane, Melissa, Suzy, Cindy, Edmond, Mike, Ben and Mary

Update #75: Operation HP #6; Making Lemonade Baby!

September 17th, 2024

16 Sep 2024

Text from Camille:

“We’ll…. It’s official! We’re halfway through the 11 rounds of HP (Herceptin & Perjetta) and have ONLY 5 more to go!!! Whoo hoo!!! Doing a happy dance over here!!! I’m celebrating this milestone! Today was my 12th infusion all together including chemo, and now the ball will start rolling down that MOTHER mountain that many times felt more like a sheer cliff! Yes, it is a mother & there is no other way to describe it.

I tell my kids that curse words are a way that adults express big emotions, and I’m feeling big conquering emotions over here! Especially now that the fog of those pre meds begin to wear off lol! (Big sigh!)

I’m so grateful to sister Melissa for being with me today, she keeps me so grounded & calm. My nurse was wonderful! I’ve had her before, she knew my history & all & just jumped in, got all going & seems like we were out of there in a flash.

I wore a T-shirt today that a new friend of mine made for her company after she was diagnosed 10 years ago. She just found out recently that she has a recurrence but they caught all early & she will be fine. We really leaned on each other the last month, I’ve learned so much from someone who walked down this path a second time; can’t even imagine that. But her deep inner strength & wisdom is beyond inspiring so I wanted to celebrate her. Her name is Samantha & she is a goddess warrior and beyond!

What a day! I may feel funky the next few days as this moves through my system but it is temporary & get to truly say that I am ALMOST DONE! Tears of joy here!

Gotta make lemonade baby!!!  🙌💪🤛 I love you all!❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨”

Text from Camille:

“Hey sisters & Mom, just a quick 'catch you up' message - had my visit for bloodwork & oncologist today, in preparation for infusion #6 of 11 coming up on Monday.  I feel great & bloodwork looks great, echo results look great too - WBC & RBC are steadily returning to their pre-treatment levels, so that reassures me that all is moving in the right direction.

I let out a big sigh when Dr. LeJeune confirmed all results & she said, "Camille, all is great news, you are doing great.  You can believe that it is true."  & I do believe & I do feel it, but I guess bc this all began so out of the blue, I'm always holding my breath just a little.  Guess it's like a bit of PTSD every time I walk in the building.

And I shared with her that a new friend who was diagnosed 10 years ago, was recently diagnosed with a recurrence, and she reminded me to have my own story, to allow myself to have my own journey but boy it takes a lot of self talk to keep that mental armor present.  And I do do that self talk & meditation daily, but boy oh boy some moments are just tough.

She also reminded me that I'm barely six months post surgery, & still very fresh out of radiation, just 7 weeks - "You are very much still healing, so you may not yet feel like yourself again."  And many parts of that are so very true.

I'm back at work, teaching online but have been to campus a few times.  It is wonderful to see everyone, such incredibly caring & supportive people but I definitely feel a bit vulnerable, not ready to be fully immersed yet, not ready to leave my self care bubble; it's just going to take some time.  And I also feel like an entirely different person, can't explain it yet, but I'm feeling it out.  Being patient with myself.

Feels like a whole new journey ahead, I'm grateful for it.🙏🤍✨

Love you all!❤️❤️❤️I AM is boss!❤️✨✨✨”

August 28th, 2024

Text from Camille: Monday, 26 Aug 2024

“Here we go!!!  Infusion #5 of 11!  ❤️✨❤️🙏

Figured out that this is actually my 11th infusion, total, if include the 6 I did through initial chemo sessions🙌. So if I consider those, I'm wayyyyy more than halfway for entire journey of infusions!🙌🥰.

All went as expected, easy breezy. Had a wonderful nurse who was incredibly knowledgeable with lots of experience. She had a very take charge kind of energy & I so appreciated that!  For some reason I felt like I was more medicated than usual afterwards so I completely crashed for a few hours after Mike brought me home. He was a wonderful support, so grateful he was able to be with me.

All is well today. Having a little nausea this morning but that is expected & I know will pass. One more checked off the list! ONLY 7 more to go!🙌✨🤍🙏”

Text from Camille:

Had my 3 month post op follow up with Dr. Martin (breast surgeon- DM) today - all looks great, will see her again in another 3 months! I'm so grateful to be 3 months further toward the completion of this journey.

I also saw my angel nurse and we hugged tightly.  She's been through this too & reminded me that the hard part is OVER!  It's all a piece of cake going forward.🙌. Just have to finish it out! I mentioned to her some of my fearful thoughts about the what if of recurrence etc., & she said: “so what?!  IF that should happen, we will all cross that bridge when we have to, but live your life like that's not going to happen."  I'll take that!  It's a daily practice.

I'll also live in the words of Dr. Chaffe:  you're biologically set up to live to 120, so mind your mitochondria & PLAN on that happening!🙌✨🤍✨

Here's a sneaky peeky! Baby sister is allllll silver, gray & white!🤍✨🤍. Fuzzy 'almost' buzz cut filling in, still kind of bare on the top in the back but I'm so grateful it's coming in! Eyelashes & brows too!🙌. Love you all!❤️❤️❤️”

** Stronghold and Progress:

Three months beyond total mastectomy surgery, Camille has established a stronghold and is assessing her progress. As warriors in battle often create a base to regroup, strategize, and ensure supply lines for continued combat, Camille has found stability. Adjusted to her treatment routines, developed coping strategies, and established her support network of family, friends, and healthcare professionals, very similar to a stronghold in a military battle.

As the Unified Commander of her battle against breast cancer, she is assessing her progress….evaluating the battlefield's situation to determine the effectiveness of her and her healthcare teams strategies, adjusting them as necessary. Three months post surgery,  the medical teams assess the effectiveness of the treatment. This evaluation often guides future treatment choices, just as military leaders evaluate troop positions and resources.

** Continuing the Fight:

In battle, warfare is seldom short-lived; it requires ongoing commitment and perseverance, despite fatigue. Three months post mastectomy, Camille recognizes that the treatment journey is long and can be fraught with emotional and physical challenges. Patience and determination become crucial as she continues battling breast cancer in the months ahead.

In both a military battle and the journey of breast cancer treatment, the themes of strength, resilience, strategic planning, and adaptability are paramount. Each day brings new challenges, requiring not only personal courage but also the support of a collective effort, whether from a military unit or a healthcare team. As patients advance in their treatment journey, they learn to navigate the complexities of their battle, drawing on their inner fortitude while celebrating progress and small victories along the way.

“DONE!!!!!!  30 days of radiation DONE!  This phase is complete!!!  So grateful to have navigated it well and to be on the other side of it!  Love you all!!!🙌🙏❤️✨✨✨.

On the road! Time to celebrate this long journey (so far!). Lots of emotions! Love you all!” Thank you for the support, always! Yes! Another phase checked off the list FOR GOOD!!!🙌🙏❤️✨ I got to ring a bell in the lobby to celebrate the completion of radiation, was so wonderful to have Sophia & Roman with me!

I'll ring the big one when EVERYTHING is done! ❤️✨❤️”

Completing radiation therapy for breast cancer can be a complex and emotionally charged experience. Here are some common emotions that patients may feel at this point:

1. Relief: Relief is a common emotion as the treatment phase has come to an end, and patients may feel a sense of accomplishment for completing a challenging part of their cancer journey.

2. Anxiety: Despite completing radiation therapy, patients may still feel anxious about the future, including concerns about recurrence, side effects, and adapting to life after treatment.

3. Fatigue: Radiation therapy can be physically exhausting, leading to feelings of fatigue that may persist even after treatment ends. This can impact a patient's emotional well-being as well.

4. Gratitude: Patients may feel grateful for the support they received from healthcare providers, family, and friends throughout their treatment process.

5. Uncertainty: The end of treatment can also bring about feelings of uncertainty about what lies ahead, including follow-up care, ongoing monitoring, and adjusting to life after cancer treatment.

6. Hope: Completing radiation therapy can also bring feelings of hope for the future and a sense of optimism about moving forward with their lives post-treatment.

7. Mixed emotions: Patients may experience a mix of emotions, ranging from happiness and relief to sadness and fear, as they navigate the complex emotional landscape of completing a significant phase in their cancer treatment.

Thank you all for continuing to support Camille while she and David continue to navigate, address and cope with the road ahead.

Update #65: Operation HP #2: Riding the Wave - Rip Tides

June 25th, 2024

24 Jun 2024

Text from Camille:

“Infusion #2 of 11 is done! That's my big WIN today!  Have many small wins, but this was a big one.  #2 is checked off the list!🙌. ONLY 9 more to go! All went ok but was first  time the nurse had difficulty accessing my port🤦‍♀️😳🥴.   Since the expanders have been put in, the port does lie differently under my skin, so I think that was part of the challenge.  The nurse did her best but boy did it hurt like a mother!  But it's behind me now. Unfortunately in true Camille fashion, my fear & anxiety kicked in, the shakes came on & I just could not get my self calm & in control.  The anxiety train was quickly leaving the station!  But!  My beautiful sister & guardian angel Melissa was with me & she helped me calm down, we did square breathing, we recited some mantras & she massaged my back, arms & hands.  & with the help of the pre meds (especially Ativan), my body & mind slowly started to relax....  then all went just fine; whew. Also, on Saturday, I noticed the right breast shape was different.  Fast forward to this morning's visit with Dr. Fontenot's NP, after I couldn't do my radiation appointment bc of misshapen breast, we learned that the expander has shifted a full quarter turn to the right.  I'm told this can happen, is even somewhat common & will be fine, but we had to go back to radiation & re-do my treatment plan.  So all will be evaluated & praying we can get right back on track tomorrow. So, it was an unexpected & upside down feeling morning, & I know that I didn't go into my infusion appointment as grounded & clear as I need.  Learned plenty, letting go of expectations & getting back to flowing with all & riding the wave! 🙌🌊🙏

(I'm wiped out)Tomorrow is a beautiful new day!  Love you all!💖✨💖

Let me also say that my other guardian angel sister Suzy came to sit with me to give Melissa a break, & she just held my hand so lovingly & so tightly, I felt so taken care of & protected. I'm so incredibly grateful my sisters could be with me.✨✨✨”

Update Update #64: Operation RAD - Week 2 - Done Image
Update #63: Operation RAD - Precision Strikes

June 16th, 2024

14 Jun 2024

Text from Camille:

“Week 1 done!!🙌🙌🙌. Only 5 more to go! Checking things off the list!💖🙏✨✨✨. Feeling great!!! Taking care of my skin in all the ways I can, I expect all to be just fine!”

It was the first week of daily radiation to right armpit lymp nodes. 5 more weeks to go.

Camille, David, Roman and Sophia celebrated 1 week down with a night at the movies.

Radiation therapy typically done for several reasons:

1. **Treatment of Affected Lymph Nodes:** If the cancer has spread to the lymph nodes in the right armpit (axilla), radiation therapy helps in targeting and treating these affected lymph nodes directly.

2. **Prevent Recurrence:** Radiation to the lymph nodes aims to decrease the risk of cancer recurrence in the axillary region by eliminating any remaining cancer cells after surgery.

3. **Improve Survival Rates:** By treating the lymph nodes in the right armpit, radiation therapy can improve the overall survival rate of patients with breast cancer by reducing the chances of cancer reemergence in that area.

4. **Comprehensive Treatment:** Including the right armpit lymph nodes in the radiation field ensures a more comprehensive treatment approach to address any potential cancer cells that may have spread to these nodes.

In essence, radiation therapy to the right armpit lymph nodes plays a crucial role in the management and treatment of breast cancer by targeting the affected lymph nodes, reducing the risk of recurrence, and improving Camille’s chances of long-term survival.

Radiation therapy can be likened to a battle strategy against an enemy in the following ways:

1. **Targeting Specific Areas**: Just as in a battle, where precision strikes are essential to weaken the enemy's positions, radiation therapy targets specific areas of the body where cancer cells are present. It aims to destroy these malignant cells while minimizing harm to surrounding healthy tissues, much like a targeted attack on a specific enemy stronghold.

2. **Persistence and Endurance**: Similar to a prolonged battle, radiation therapy requires consistency and endurance. Patients often undergo multiple sessions over several weeks to gradually weaken and eliminate cancer cells, mirroring the perseverance needed in a battle to achieve victory over time.

3. **Damage and Recovery**: In a battle, collateral damage to infrastructure is often an unavoidable consequence. Similarly, radiation therapy may cause damage to healthy cells surrounding the cancerous area. However, just like rebuilding after a war, the body has the remarkable ability to repair itself post-treatment, allowing for recovery and healing.

4. **Strategic Planning**: Much like military strategists plan their moves meticulously, oncologists carefully design radiation treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique cancer type and stage. This strategic approach aims to maximize the effectiveness of treatment while minimizing side effects, akin to crafting battle tactics for optimal results.

5. **Victory and Survival**: Ultimately, the goal of both battling an enemy and undergoing radiation therapy is victory and survival. Radiation therapy seeks to eradicate cancer cells and provide the best chance of long-term remission and a healthy, cancer-free life, akin to achieving triumph over an adversary in a battle scenario.

By drawing parallels between radiation therapy and a battle against an enemy, we can appreciate the complexity, strategy, and resilience required in both contexts to overcome challenges and emerge victorious.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Camille so appreciates her prayer warriors.

Text from Camille:

“Quick update, Radiation oncology office just called, first appointment at 2:45 this afternoon 🙏✨✨✨. I AM is the boss, & I AM safe, I AM healthy, I AM whole & I AM divinely guided toward full recovery and healing. I AM already healed. This phase will cement my remission. My Body is powerful, strong & resilient!🙌🙏❤️✨✨✨.”

Camille got an out of the blue text from Dr Mary from the Remedy Room:

“Y'all, I just about fell to my knees as I just received this message from Dr. Mary! 😳🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️. I do Dr. Dispenza's self healing meditation almost daily! Can we say DIVINE TIMING??!!!🙏🙏🙏✨✨✨”

  From Dr. Mary:

“Hi Camille

I have you on my mind and wanted to send you love today.

I’m just returning from Dr Joe Dispenza weeklong Retreat. Where we meditated with a group of 2100, Four X a day.  it was incredible.

Learning again about the power of the divine within each of us.

So beautiful and reminded of you and how powerful you are .”

We asked Camille why does she think she got this message from Dr Mary, Today…

Text from Camille:

“I think she was guided to message me TODAY specifically to double down on the fact that I can trust myself, that I AM powerful & to not get attached to the human experience, stay above it, flow above & just stay connected to the Divine!!!✨✨✨✨ I AM is powerful!!!! I AM going to be ok!💖✨✨✨”

Text from Camille: 1034

“Good morning mom & sisters, want to share an update after my visit with the plastic surgeon this morning. Of course he's not happy about radiation at all, but assured me I should do fine, my skin is healthy, hope all remains that way. I'm a little bummed (just having a human moment) to learn that bc of radiation the second breast surgery will not be as straight forward as previously thought. Unless my skin does incredibly well & is not damaged at all, which I'm praying for, I won't be able to just put in implants. In his experience the skin will need six moths to heal after radiation then my surgery options change - they will be either the DIEP flap which takes tissue from the lower belly OR put in implants BUT the right side will need additional tissue & muscle which he can take from my back. This second option is a very old school surgery he said & with very little risk, only a new scar on my back at the bra line & less downtime outside of a night or two in the hospital. There will be no loss of muscle function in my back, he said the other muscles will take over. Bc I've already had the mastectomy, the DIEP flap option would be about a five hour surgery, & longer hospital stay & recovery but I have my own tissue but a very expansive scar in the bikini line. There are more risks upfront with this option bc blood vessels have to be reconnected, etc. I'm feeling a little down but digging deep to reframe that I AM cancer free, I AM healthy & whole, & I will pray about what the best option is for me AND I will pray & envision that my skin will do completely fine & just maybe the initial consideration of simply putting in implants will be my option. I felt in the moment that I wanted to cry but told myself, Camille cry if you need, it's a human thing BUT remember you are healthy, you are whole AND you are cancer free! Dig deep, dig deep, dig deep. Thank you for your continued visions & prayers for health & easy recovery for all. I surrender to the Man upstairs, trusting that either way, He has my back.🙏💖✨💖✨✨✨”

“Got my mindset right! Shaking off my earlier funk! Amazing what movement, nature & meditation can do to recalibrate the mind! FU to the negative thoughts, fear & 'what ifs'! Have no space for them!!! I AM BOSS & will focus on my own journey! Gettn' my warrior mindset on, with my silver sideburns!!!🙌💪🥷🏻🙏✨❤️”.

Key elements of a warrior mindset:

1. **Courage and Resilience:** A warrior mindset involves summoning the courage to face the diagnosis, treatment, and potential outcomes with resilience. It is about acknowledging fears and doubts but choosing to move forward with strength and determination.

2. **Positive Attitude:** Maintaining a positive attitude can be a significant asset when battling breast cancer. Optimism, hope, and a belief in one's ability to overcome obstacles can help in coping with the emotional and physical toll of the disease.

3. **Empowerment:** Empowerment is central to the warrior mindset. Taking an active role in your treatment decisions, seeking knowledge about the disease, and advocating for yourself can give you a sense of control in a situation that can often feel overwhelming.

4. **Adaptability:** A warrior mindset involves being adaptable and flexible in the face of setbacks or changes in treatment plans. It means being open to adjustments, seeking alternative strategies, and finding new ways to confront challenges.

5. **Self-Care:** Taking care of oneself, both physically and emotionally, is vital in battling breast cancer. This includes prioritizing rest, nutrition, exercise, and managing stress effectively. Self-care practices can enhance resilience and overall well-being during the treatment journey.

6. **Support Network:** Building a strong support network of family, friends, healthcare providers, and support groups is crucial in maintaining a warrior mindset. Connecting with others who understand your experiences can provide comfort, encouragement, and a sense of community.

7. **Focus on Goals:** Setting achievable goals, whether they are related to treatment milestones, personal well-being, or future plans, can give you a sense of purpose and direction during the battle against breast cancer.

8. **Mindfulness and Emotional Regulation:** Practicing mindfulness techniques, such as meditation or deep breathing, can help manage stress, anxiety, and emotional fluctuations that often accompany a cancer diagnosis. These strategies can promote emotional balance and mental clarity.

Embracing a warrior mindset in battling breast cancer involves a combination of inner strength, positivity, empowerment, adaptability, self-care, support, focus, and emotional well-being. It is about facing the challenge with determination, resilience, and a belief in your ability to overcome adversity!!

Update #59: This battle is NOT Over…11 more rounds of Chemo!

June 3rd, 2024

02 Jun 2024

GSG Prayer Warriors, Camille needs your support and prayers. She is entering Operation HP (Herpercetin and Perjetta)….11 rounds!!!!

Text from Camille:

“Tomorrow I have 11am consult with radiation & 1pm will be the first of 11 rounds of HP infusion; one every 3 weeks for 9 months.🤦‍♀️😢💪 I’ll have more info after consult re: radiation. I’m a little nervous about infusion. Know it should go just fine, I’ve done this six times before, I’m just feeling all sorts of things. Just going to take a minute to reframe all, get my mind right for tomorrow. Please pray that all is easy, pre meds will help with all & I’ll have no side effects during or following, or at least minimal side effects after , which potentially could be diarrhea, especially since that’s how my body reacted during treatment. I’m having lots of feelings about all. And, I’m trying to remind myself that I now many women who have successfully completed this exact protocol. I’m going to be ok. Just having lots of human feelings. Oncologist assured me all is downhill from here, this is cementing my remission - crossing T’s & dotting I’s.💪💪💪. Digging deep 🤜!”

Wow GSG prayer warriors. 11 more rounds!! Plus radiation..we need your prayers!

1. **Emotional Impact**:  You can hear the emotional turmoil in Camille’s text regarding facing 11 more rounds. Her mental fortitude is being tested. Just as a warrior is required to stay strong in the face of ongoing challenges of a military battle, Camille must dig deep.

2. **Endurance**: The ensuing 11 rounds will require physical and mental endurance as well as resilience and stamina required, just as a soldier in battle must push through fatigue and hardship.

3. **Strategic Planning**: Camille must navigate treatment schedules, side effects, and recovery periods, akin to the strategic planning in military operations to achieve specific objectives.

4. **Support System**: Camille and David rely on the healthcare providers, family, and friends for emotional and practical support, just as soldiers depend on their comrades and leaders in military operations. And her GiveSendGo Prayer Warriors!

5. **Sense of Purpose**: Whether fighting cancer or engaging in a military operation, having a clear goal or mission is providing Camille with motivation and focus.

6. **Resilience and Adaptability**: Camille will tap into her resilience to adjust course, overcome obstacles, and continue moving forward.

7. **Outcome and Victory**: Victory in this upcoming chemo treatment for Camille will mean remission, the ultimate “mission accomplished” to achieving the strategic objectives.

Breast Cancer treatment is complex…and it IS a Battle!

Text from Camille:

“Dr. LeJeune (oncologist) assured me all is downhill from here, that the hardest parts are already behind me, & so many others have said the same who have walked this same treatment plan. I guess I just really have savored feeling so good, recovering so well from surgery, I’m anxious about ‘starting again’, even though I should be completely fine. It’s just still a long road ahead. But on the brighter side, after tomorrow, I’ll have only 10 more, the countdown to completion of all will begin. I AM already completely healed. This is just locking it in & as Cindy says ‘closing the loop’ on this forever .❤️✨❤️.           I AM is the BOSS!!!🙌💪🙏✨”

**2 Chronicles 20:15**: "Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army (cancer, chemo, radiation). For the battle is not yours, but God’s."

Ultimate victory comes from God's intervention and power, and we trust in His sovereignty during our battles.

#CamilleStrong

Thank you GSG warriors!! We are grateful for your prayers and support for Camille and David as they navigate this next challenge.

27 May 2024, Memorial Day

Text from Camille:

“Good morning!  Wanted to share something quickly.  My incredible & dear friend Raina in NYC sent me a package with this incredible mastectomy bra. It's actually from a company that I've bought one from & love it. Raina was the tailor on a shoot for the company last week, she told the owner about my journey & the owner gave her the bra to send to me & her card if I had any questions. I'm just really moved to tears bc as much as this is a journey no one wants to be on, there are so many caring people, people who don't know me, but for a few moments, send their love & prayers. It just moved me to tears.  Just like the campaign you guys created - it just blows me away & moves me beyond words. I am just beyond grateful. Really, no words.

Love you all!❤️🙏❤️✨✨✨”

Today is Memorial Day, the last Monday of May, honoring the men and women who have died while serving in the U.S. military. It originated in the years following the Civil War and was officially proclaimed a federal holiday in 1971.

The beauty of Memorial Day lies in the recognition and gratitude it fosters for the sacrifices made by those who have given their lives in service to their country. It serves as a poignant reminder of the profound devotion and selflessness exhibited by these individuals. Additionally, the holiday brings communities together in remembrance and solidarity, creating a sense of reverence and unity among the populace. The somber yet beautiful ceremonies, parades, and moments of reflection pay tribute to the fallen heroes and ensure that their memory lives on in the collective consciousness of the nation. Memorial Day provides an opportunity for Americans to express their appreciation for the freedoms they enjoy due to the bravery and valor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Text from Camille:

“Hi Mom & Sisters,

Had my follow up with Dr. LeJeune this morning. She couldn’t be happier with my results. She said I had a complete pathological response with only 6 treatments which is incredible. She said I did remarkable. Celebrate, celebrate, celebrate, is what she said!

Moving forward, bc of tumor size which was 9 cm & especially bc it was not a solid mass but so spread out & had lymph node involvement, I absolutely need radiation. Radiation & HP (Herceptin & Perjetta) targeted therapy will CEMENT my remission. I’m holding onto to that word: cement. This will get all the microscopic pieces that cannot be seen on scans & in pathology. Also bc HER2 is aggressive & has a high chance of recurrence, these last two steps are necessary.

Radiation will be to lymph node area & right chest wall. I have consult with Radiation on June 3rd.

She said to just keep doing what I’m doing, I am going to be fine, all is downhill from here.

I am so grateful to be healthy & free of all & now have to get my mindset straight & reframe that this is all working in my favor, toward complete healing & recovery bc I AM CANCER FREE!🙌🙌🙌✨❤️🙏🙏🙏

Taking a meditative stroll in the rose garden at the alumni center, to get my mind right, ground myself & check in with the man upstairs, reminding him that I trust him, I trust my healthy body & free will that he has given me & I surrender to all.

I hear Him say that I AM going to be just fine, He's got me✋️🥰✨✨✨🙏❤️❤️❤️”

Cementing cancer remission with radiation therapy involves using high-energy beams to target and cancerous cells that may remain in the body following other treatments, such as surgery or chemotherapy.

After a patient has undergone treatment for cancer and is in remission, radiation therapy may be recommended to specifically target any remaining cancer cells that could potentially grow and cause a recurrence of the disease. This additional treatment aims to reduce the likelihood of the cancer returning and helps to solidify the remission status for the patient.

Radiation therapy works by damaging the DNA within cancer cells, preventing them from multiplying and ultimately leading to their destruction. The treatment is carefully planned to deliver the radiation precisely to the affected area while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues.

By administering radiation therapy to target any residual cancer cells, healthcare providers strive to further eradicate the disease and enhance the chances of prolonged remission or even a cure for the patient. The ultimate goal of cementing cancer remission with radiation therapy is to improve the overall outcomes and quality of life for individuals who have battled cancer.

Update #55: An Unexpected Year…..

May 19th, 2024

17 May 2024

Text from Camille:

“It was a wonderful day!  5th grade graduation today! & 2nd grade awards ceremony! Can't believe my little banana is going to middle school!😢🥰✨✨✨. They both did so well & excelled, despite the really unexpected year we had - I'm so proud of them!  And, Sophia received the Principals Choice award, which was a surprise to her, & I completely burst into tears.  Given to only one fifth grade girl.  I'm so grateful they recognized her ability to dig deep, keep showing up & continuing to be an excellent school citizen!🙌💖😢”

When reflecting on an unexpected year, here are a few sentiments:

1. Acknowledging challenges faced and emphasizing resilience in overcoming them.

2. Recognizing the lessons learned and personal growth experienced during the unexpected events.

3. Showing gratitude for support received, highlighting moments of positivity, and finding silver linings amidst difficulties.

4. Reflecting on newfound insights, adaptability, and strength discovered during the trying times.

5. Using the experience as a source of motivation and inspiration for the future.

Camille, David, Sophia and Roman are the epitome of all these sentiments!

Bravo!!

“Soooooo.... some GREAT NEWS!!!!

All lymph nodes are NEGATIVE !🙌🙌🙌. ALL margins are CLEAR! I've had a COMPLETE pathological response to all!!! I am overjoyed beyond!!! I'm so relieved!!!!

When my friend in San Diego who was guiding me during those really hard chemo days, & said she had had 'a complete pathological response' to her treatment & was clear on the other side of all, in that very moment I said "Laci, I am praying right now that I will be able to say those words on the other side of this." And now, they are TRUE!!! Those words are mine now too!🙏🙏🙏

Doc said the board will review my case next Tuesday re: radiation. I’m praying I don’t need it but of course will do what they recommend.

I’ll keep you posted but please celebrate & breathe in this incredible milestone with me!🙌✋️💪🙏

Beautiful Melissa brought me to my appointment so she & I celebrated together💖✨💖”

Complete Pathological Response as compared to the Battle waged against Breast Cancer:

A complete pathological response refers to when no residual cancer cells are found in the tissues after treatment, indicating a successful elimination of the cancer. On the other hand, winning a military battle entails achieving victory and fulfilling the objectives of a military campaign. While these are two distinct concepts within their respective domains, there are some interesting parallels that can be drawn between a complete pathological response in medicine and winning a military operation:

1. **Achievement of Goals**: In both scenarios, there is a clear objective to be accomplished. In medicine, the goal is to eradicate cancer cells completely to prevent disease recurrence. In a military operation, success is defined by achieving strategic or tactical objectives, such as capturing territory or neutralizing enemy forces.

2. **Comprehensive Planning**: Both scenarios require meticulous planning and coordination. Medical professionals and military leaders alike must strategize on the best course of action to ensure success. This includes determining the most effective treatment protocols in medicine and formulating battle plans in military operations.

3. **Resource Utilization**: Both situations involve resource management and allocation. Whether it is deploying medical resources for treatment or logistical support for a military campaign, optimal utilization of resources is critical for success.

4. **Collaborative Effort**: Success in both a complete pathological response and winning a military operation often hinges on teamwork and collaboration. In medicine, this involves multidisciplinary care teams working together to provide the best treatment. In a military setting, effective coordination among different units and branches is essential for victory.

5. **Risk and Uncertainty**: Both scenarios are fraught with risks and uncertainties. In medicine, there can be unforeseen complications or resistance to treatment. Similarly, military operations face unpredictable factors such as enemy strategies or changing battlefield conditions.

6. **Celebration of Success**: Finally, both achievements warrant recognition and celebration. A complete pathological response signifies a significant milestone in a patient's treatment journey, while winning a military operation is a cause for national pride and acknowledgment of the sacrifices made.

While the contexts of a complete pathological response and winning a military operation differ greatly, these comparisons highlight the common themes of goal achievement, planning, resource management, teamwork, risk management, and celebrating success in both domains.

In other words…Victory and Triumph!! Camille’s ultimate objective.

Update #52: Happy Mother’s Day…Gratitude!

May 13th, 2024

12 May 2024

Mother's Day may serve as a day that highlights the strong emotional support and care a mother provides. For someone with breast cancer, this support can be crucial during their treatment journey. It can remind them of the love and care they receive from their mother, providing comfort and strength during challenging times.

Mother's Day can be an opportunity for families to come together to celebrate the love and bond they share. For Camille, spending time with loved ones offered a sense of unity, uplifting her spirits and helping her feel connected and supported.

Mother's Day often prompts reflection on the important role a mother plays in one's life. For Camille, this day provides a moment to reflect on her own mother's strength, love, and sacrifices, fostering gratitude and appreciation for the support received during their illness.

Mother's Day can symbolize hope and encouragement, reminding individuals with breast cancer of the strength and resilience they possess. It can inspire them to keep fighting, knowing that their family's love and support are steadfast.

Dear Friends and Family,

We are writing to provide you with an update on Camille’s battle with breast cancer.

As many of you know, she is undergoing surgery Today for a Total Mastectomy (removal of both breasts and lymph nodes) to remove any and all remains of the cancerous/mutant tissue and reduce the risk of its spread.

We ask for your prayers through Jesus Christ’s guiding hands for her medical team and the surgical staff and that they execute this mission with precision, patience, skill and expertise. Her team of doctors are optimistic about her prognosis via this approach and believe that this will pave the way for her path to full recovery.

During this challenging time, we ask for your continued thoughts, prayers, and positive energy directed towards Camille’s healing and well-being. Your support has been a source of strength for her entire family, and we are grateful for the love and encouragement we have received from each of you.

We believe in the power of collective prayer and positive thoughts, and we are confident that with your continued support, Camille, David, Sophia and Roman will find the strength and resilience to overcome this hurdle.

Thank you for standing by Camille during this difficult time, and we will keep you updated on her progress as she embarks on her journey to recovery from surgery.

Been a while since we posted an update. Apologizes!

Camille has been preparing herself mentally and physically for her upcoming surgery, Total Bilateral Mastectomy, which will take place on Friday, 03 May 2024.

To have one last hooray before “phase 2” in Camille’s battle against breast cancer and celebrate sisters being together; Sister Melissa, sister Sue and Camille had a fabulous 24 hour stay at the elegant L’Auberge Hotel and Casino. See pics!!

Please say some special prayers for Camille this week as she prepares for her total mastectomy. It has been a challenging and emotional process, but she is taking care of herself both physically and mentally.

She has made efforts to understand the procedure, what to expect during and after surgery, and the potential side effects. This knowledge is helping alleviate fears and uncertainties. She has discussed her concerns and fears with her top notch healthcare team. She is surrounded by loved ones, family and friends and has prioritized self-care activities that help her to relax and stay grounded, such as meditation, yoga, deep breathing exercises, mindfulness practices and her new PEMF mat…more on that next update.

With deep gratitude for keeping Camille in your prayers.

“Remedy Room Monday visit! Day 33 post final chemo round! Feeling SO GOOD! More & more like myself every single day! 19 days left to continue my best efforts for surgery prep on May 3rd. Feeling so grateful & blessed! BIL Bill drove with me today! Great company & we rolled through unexpected challenges really easy together on the way - random tire blowout! But we worked through & rolled with all! All good! Tire is fixed & we're on our way back!”

Thank you brother-in-law Bill for stepping up! Your willingness to provide support, company, and assistance during such a challenging time for Camille has made a significant difference in her journey to healing. Update #42: Phase 2: Confronting the Enemy - The Surgical Strike

April 8th, 2024

08 Apr 2024 - Eclipse Day

Camille has started to prepare for Phase 2 of her battle against this formidable foe.

Strike 1:  6 rounds of a 4 drug Chemotherapy cocktail, +++ alternative therapies like High Dose IV Vitamin C - as a matter of fact, she is traveling back to the Remedy Room today with sister Sue to continue the infusions of Liquid Gold

Strike 2:  Surgery; Total Mastectomy and Part 1 of Breast Reconstruction

Camille has chosen a highly skilled surgical team in Dr Tasha Martin for the total mastectomy and Dr Bennett Fontenot for breast reconstruction. Surgery is schedule for Friday, 03 May 2024. Your continued prayers are needed more than ever!

There is currently an expectation that Camille will require radiation to the right breast and right armpit lymph node area due to the amount of disease that was present. BUT, the surgical team will know more after surgery. Your prayers for complete absence of disease is greatly appreciated!

In Camille’s battle against breast cancer, the second phase of treatment, Surgery, is much like a military campaign:

1. **Precision Targeting**: Just like a military strike aims to target specific enemy strongholds, surgical procedures in cancer treatment target the tumor with precision, aiming to remove it completely while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissue.

2. **Strategic Planning**: Military campaigns require meticulous planning, taking into account various factors like terrain, enemy strength, and logistics. Similarly, surgical interventions in cancer treatment are carefully planned, considering the type, size, and location of the tumor, as well as the overall health of the patient.

3. **Execution with Expertise**: Just as soldiers execute their missions with precision and expertise, surgical teams perform intricate procedures with skill and proficiency, guided by years of training and experience.

4. **Adapting to Challenges**: Military campaigns must adapt to unexpected challenges and changing circumstances on the battlefield. Similarly, in cancer surgery, surgeons must be prepared to adjust their approach based on intraoperative findings and unexpected complications.

5. **Post-Operative Care**: After a successful military strike, ongoing efforts are crucial to secure the gains and prevent counterattacks. In cancer treatment, post-operative care, including monitoring, therapy, and rehabilitation, is vital for the patient's recovery and long-term well-being.

6. **Working Towards Victory**: Ultimately, both military campaigns and cancer treatment strive for victory – whether it be in defeating an enemy or eradicating the disease. The second phase of cancer treatment, often involving surgical intervention, plays a crucial role in advancing towards the goal of remission and improved quality of life for the patient.

By drawing parallels between the surgical approach in cancer treatment and a military campaign, we hope you can appreciate the complexity, strategy, and teamwork involved in both endeavors, highlighting the determination and resilience required to overcome formidable challenges and achieve success.

Update Update #42: Phase 2: Confronting the Enemy - The Surgical Strike Image
Update #41: Yellow Liquid Kryptonite - More Please!

April 2nd, 2024

02 Apr 2024

Text from Camille:

“Never felt more gratitude or proud to wear this hat or be in this chair because I KNOW this high dose Vitamin C has been integral in my recent miraculous MRI results! Team Remedy Room alllll the way here!!!! 🙌🫶💛💛💛✨✨✨✨. And so grateful for sister Melissa bringing me & celebrating with me this morning!💖”

Vitamin C, particularly when administered intravenously at high doses (IV vitamin C), has been the subject of interest in cancer research due to its effects on cancer cells.

Here is how IV vitamin C could be likened to "kryptonite against cancer cells" in a metaphorical sense:

1. **Antioxidant Properties**:

   - **Explanation**: Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals in the body. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can damage cells and contribute to the development of cancer.

   - **Comparison to Kryptonite**: In the metaphorical sense, just as kryptonite weakens Superman, IV vitamin C's antioxidant properties can weaken cancer cells by reducing oxidative stress and limiting their ability to grow and spread.

2. **Anti-Cancer Effects**:

   - **Explanation**: Studies suggest that high-dose IV vitamin C may have anti-cancer effects. It has been proposed to selectively target and cancer cells while sparing normal cells.

   - **Comparison to Kryptonite**: Like kryptonite's detrimental effect on Superman, IV vitamin C's ability to selectively target cancer cells can be seen as a potent weapon against cancer, undermining cancer cell growth and survival.

3. **Immune System Support**:

   - **Explanation**: IV vitamin C supports the immune system, which plays a crucial role in identifying and destroying cancer cells.

   - **Comparison to Kryptonite**: Analogous to how kryptonite exposes Superman's vulnerability, IV vitamin C's immune-boosting properties may enhance the immune system's ability to recognize and eliminate cancer cells more effectively.

“Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival."  Winston Churchill

Reminder: Camille was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer in Nov 2023. She has completed 6 rounds of a 4 drug chemotherapy cocktail every 3 weeks since 30 Nov 2023, experiencing all of the horrid side effects. Peppered throughout her treatments to combat chemo side effects and enhance destruction of mutant cells, she received High Dose IV Vitamin C infusions on either side of chemo day.

Today, she saw the surgical team to discuss the MRI results from 19 Mar 2024 and map out the surgical plan.

Text from Camille, 1443 hrs:

Great visit with Dr. Martin, breast surgeon - NO CANCER DETECTED!!!! Is the result from MRI!!! NONE in lymph nodes either!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌I cried, & am still very emotional. Feel like I can breathe. THANK YOU ALL so much for everything from the very bottom of my heart. I will share more about rest of visit & details of surgery, but had to share & celebrate this news first! I love you!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”

Camille has always had a resolute and determined attitude towards achieving victory during this time of great challenge and adversity. She embodies immense perseverance, courage, and unwavering commitment to achieving success against all odds…against an insidious enemy.

And more than that, She has FAITH!! AND she has all of YOU, her Prayer and Faith WARRIORS!!!  Faith that moved mountains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew 17:20: Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Genuine faith, like a mustard seed, can lead to great things (Camille’s Miracle) with God's help and your continued prayers.

As Camille begins Phase 2 of her cancer battle (surgery), please continue to pray, share, follow and support her, David and their two beautiful children. Your declarations and prayers are producing miracles!!

Update #39: Grateful - Thankful - Blessed

March 31st, 2024

Easter Sunday, 31 Mar 2024

Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it for He has Risen.

Gospel of Matthew, chapter 28, verses 5-6: "The angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.”

In Matthew chapter 28, after the crucifixion and burial of Jesus, the chapter begins with the account of the resurrection of Jesus. It describes how Mary Magdalene and Mary Salome went to the tomb where Jesus had been buried and encountered an angel who told them not to be afraid because Jesus had risen, just as He had said. The angel then invited them to see the empty tomb. The chapter continues with Jesus appearing to the women, instructing them to tell the disciples that He had risen and arranging a meeting with them in Galilee.

On this Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. It is considered the most important event in Christian theology, as it signifies Jesus' victory over sin and death, and the promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him.

Easter also symbolizes new life, hope, and renewal. The Easter season is a time of joy and celebration for people worldwide, with traditions such as attending church services, decorating eggs and sharing meals with family and friends.

For many people, Easter is not only a religious observance but also a cultural celebration that heralds the arrival of spring and serves as a time for reflection, gratitude, and togetherness with loved ones and a symbol that a new season is upon Us!!

And on this day, this Easter, a new season is Upon Camille!

Camille enters his gates with Praise and his courts with Thanksgiving. For she knows the plans He has for her declares the Lord, plans to prosper her and not harm her. Plans to give her hope and a future. Then Camille will call on the Lord and come pray to Him. And He will listen to her. She will seek Him and find Him as she seeks Him with all her heart.

Update #37: Calling on all Prayer Warriors

March 19th, 2024

18 Mar 2024

Camille is getting her follow up MRI tomorrow to assess her status and we are calling on all prayer warriors to send her prayers, positive vibrations, and a declaration of obliterated mutant cells.

Please pray for God's intervention, calm spirit to envelope Camille, comfort and healing.

Text from Camille:

“Hi mom & sisters, asking for all good vibes & thoughts for tomorrow morning. 9am MRI at Burdin Riehl in the oil center. I'm praying that all the measures I have taken to eradicate these mutant cells has paid off. I'm feeling anxious but will lean into my I AM mindset to get me through. I love you all & am so incredibly grateful for everything. So grateful. I love you ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏”

Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

This verse reminds us that when facing uncertainty and fear, that God is with you, offering strength, help, and support during difficult times. It emphasizes the presence of God and His promise to uphold and sustain those who trust in Him, even in the face of challenging circumstances. Finding solace in such a verse is providing Camille reassurance and peace while undergoing and then waiting for these very important MRI test results.

Update #36: The Bridge to Victory is paved with High Dose IV Vitamin C

March 17th, 2024

17 Mar 2024

Camille is back at the Remedy Room today getting her High Dose IV Vitamin C to complete the Bridge approach to Chemo. Ellen accompanied her and was her steadfast rock to lean on.

Text from Camille: (1054)

“Back at The Remedy Room this morning!  Completing the bridging approach after this LAST chemo round!!!🙌🙌🙌. Ellen was so gracious to bring me again.  We drove through so much rain but all is well! I feel so relieved to be on the other side of chemo.  Truly feel so different in my mindset.  Making a plan on how to continue my Vitamin C as I move forward!  ✨💖✨

Sister Sue: (1128) “Beautiful moment in time🙌❤️Blue skies on the way back🥰.”

Camille: (1135) “All done, on our way back now!”

Mary: (1300) “Wow, that was fast!! Yahoo!”

The bridging approach of combining high dose intravenous (IV) vitamin C with chemotherapy is effective due to the following reasons:

1. **Synergistic Effects**: IV vitamin C may enhance the sensitivity of cancer cells to chemotherapy, potentially increasing the efficacy of the chemotherapy drugs.

2. **Antioxidant Properties**: Vitamin C's antioxidant properties may help protect healthy cells from chemotherapy-induced damage, reducing treatment-related side effects.

3. **Immune Support**: IV vitamin C can bolster the immune system, aiding in overall health, and potentially improving treatment outcomes.

4. **Anticancer Effects**: High-dose IV vitamin C may have direct anticancer effects by promoting cancer cell death within tumors, complementing the action of chemotherapy.

5. **Enhanced Wellbeing**: IV vitamin C therapy can improve quality of life by reducing fatigue, enhancing overall wellbeing, and supporting patients during the rigors of chemotherapy treatment.

Camille has begun her last session of chemotherapy today at 0930 hrs, representing a personal victory and journey of endurance that transcends the context of a military mission. It highlights her resilience, courage, and strength in this very real battling —a battle that is as significant and heroic as any military campaign.

The experience of undergoing chemotherapy is likened to a carefully planned and executed military operation. Strategy, resilience, and teamwork is required to navigate the challenges and uncertainties of cancer treatment, showcasing Camille’s courage and determination in confronting a formidable enemy.

Loved ones may gather to mark this special occasion, bringing balloons, flowers, cards, and words of encouragement to honor the patient's strength and resilience. We know she, David and their kiddos will celebrate in their own way.

**Symbolism and Rituals:** Some individuals may choose to mark the end of chemotherapy with symbolic gestures, such as ringing a bell at the cancer center to signify the completion of treatment, or by wearing a special item of clothing or jewelry to commemorate the day. Camille is wearing her “I am tougher than you C” shirt!

Update #33: She IS Tougher!! Last Day of Chemo….

March 14th, 2024

14 Mar 2024

Camille’s last day of Chemo! (6 of 6). It was tough…but SHE is Tougher!

The last day of chemotherapy for Camille is significant and an emotional milestone. It is a day that marks the completion of a challenging and often exhausting chapter in her fight against cancer.

Please pray with us today that this last session before surgery (late April/early May) is well tolerated and without incident.

Heavenly Father,

On this momentous day, we come before you with hearts filled with gratitude and hope. As Camille completes their last day of chemotherapy, we lift up prayers of thanksgiving for bringing her through this challenging journey with strength and courage.

We thank you for guiding the hands of the healthcare providers, for the advancements in medical science, and for the unwavering support of family and friends who have surrounded Camille with love and care throughout this time.

Lord, as the final dose is administered, we ask for your healing touch to permeate every cell of Camille’s body, bringing restoration, renewal, and strength. Grant Camille comfort and peace as she faces this milestone, knowing that you are with her every step of the way.

May this last day of chemotherapy mark the beginning of a new season of health, vitality, and joy for Camille, David, Sophia and Roman. Instill in them a sense of hope for the future and a deep trust in your plan for their life.

We commit Camille’s journey beyond chemotherapy into your hands, trusting in your perfect timing and provision. May she continue to feel your presence and experience your grace in abundance as she moves toward complete healing and wholeness.

We offer this prayer in faith, believing in your power to bring about miracles and blessings. May your peace fill Camille’s heart today and always.

In your loving and comforting name, Amen.

With gratitude,

Update #32: Bare Beauty - Metamorphosis

March 14th, 2024

13 Mar 2024

NOTE: CAMILLE HAS GIVEN US PERMISSION TO SHARE HER PHOTOS.

As the chemotherapy agents wage war on cancer cells, they also inadvertently affect healthy cells in the body, particularly those that divide rapidly. This collateral damage manifests in various ways, one of the most visible being hair loss.

Inside the body, chemotherapy disrupts the division of hair follicle cells, causing them to stop growing and eventually leading to hair loss. This is because hair follicles are among the fastest-growing cells in the body and are thus highly susceptible to the effects of chemotherapy.

Outside the body, the toll of this internal battle becomes apparent as the patient begins to lose their hair. This outward sign serves as a stark reminder of the intense struggle happening within, a tangible symbol of the sacrifices made in the fight against cancer.

Despite the visible effects on the outside, revealing baldness is a courageous act that embodies the warrior spirit of resilience, strength, and authenticity.

Camille = Warrior = Camille

Choosing to reveal baldness requires vulnerability and courage. It means stepping out of Camille’s comfort zone and facing potential judgment or scrutiny from others. However, by embracing baldness, Camille demonstrates a profound sense of self-acceptance and bravery in the face of adversity.

Revealing her baldness empowers Camille to reclaim control over her appearance and self-image. It sends a powerful message of self-confidence and resilience, challenging societal beauty standards and norms.

Revealing baldness can inspire and uplift others who are going through similar experiences. It fosters a sense of solidarity and community among cancer patients, survivors, and supporters, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey. It also raises awareness about the harsh realities of cancer treatment.

Baldness associated with cancer treatment, serves as a visible reminder of the challenges and sacrifices Camille faces in her battle against cancer. She truly embodies the warrior spirit of resilience, strength, and determination.

In essence, revealing her baldness, in a public way and on this campaign, is a powerful manifestation of her warrior spirit, characterized by courage, empowerment, solidarity, and resilience.

Text from Camille to her sisters, when she offered to reveal her hair loss:

“I know it might be shocking at first, but remember that it’s temporary & will grow back!

Thank for being open to seeing. It feels really good, & I don’t want to reject any part of my body - I want to love her through everything so I love her this way too. It feels insanely vulnerable but I want to be ok with that. I love my body, & I’m sad that she’s going through this but I will nurture & take care of her - she is my life vessel.

When I shared with (brother) Mike that I had lost all my hair, bc he asked, & I told him it was all gone, & I was wearing a wig, he started to cry & that made me feel all sorts of things - don’t want to cause sadness, or fear for others. But he grabbed my hand really tight & said it was ok, & that made me want to embrace her more. She is teaching lessons to all of us. We have each other to walk through these unexpected & challenge full seasons. I’m ok if you share the bald pic - it’s part of my journey & it’s the truth. Hope that makes sense. I so admire the women I see who don’t use wigs at all. I’m not there yet, lol, but I may be at some point soon, especially as the weather starts to warm up!

These are pictures from  a piece called RE II by the choreographer Shen Wei, who I danced & studied with the summer I was at Duke, ‘95. This is how I feel with my clean hairless head. Translucent, sort of shapeless, choosing to be internal & invisible but in that space of a blank canvas, an entire new being is evolving, morphing & emerging.

With the possibility of all those beautiful pieces, life changing pieces, I don’t want to hide her but I want to protect her so she can do the work she’s meant to do within this season of shifting.  🤍✨✨✨ I hope this makes sense….  I love you❤️✨✨✨”

We received several comments about the picture of Camille from 1996 and her super short bleach blonde haircut (re-posted here) and many wanted to know how that came to be.

Text from Camille:

“Here’s how the haircut came about; I was studying in NYC over Christmas break 1995, and my hair was so damaged from straightening it for a few years.  A friend told me that this salon on the Upper East Side offered free haircuts with their stylists in training. So I called & made an appointment…because it was free!!

When I arrived, it was actually the salon of & the very beginning of the brand Bumble & Bumble which was in the old Chanel atelier building. A stylists in training saw my damaged hair & said there was only one thing she could do to it, and asked me to trust her!

She got to work, & I truly had no idea what I was getting myself into but it was a free haircut!  I was in NYC & it felt absolutely thrilling.

When all was done, she turned the chair around toward the mirror and I gasped! And then I cried! But soon the whole salon supported the transformation & applauded me.

It was the best thing ever, at the time. It was freeing & I had a whole new look that helped me stand out in a new way professionally as a young modern dancer & actress. Was a game changer!!!!!!!!✨✨✨”

Update #29: Strength and Grace - Dancing and Stretching

March 9th, 2024

09 Mar 2024

Sharing some of Camille’s past training and pictures and how tapping into her years of training as an actor and background as a dancer, yoga instructor and LifeCoach, allows her to be fully in-tune and present with her body, empowering her to navigate her cancer journey with greater resilience, self-awareness, and empowerment.

Being present in your body makes you a warrior by allowing you to fully engage with and confront the challenges you face. When you are present in your body, you become acutely aware of your physical sensations, emotions, and surroundings. This heightened awareness enables you to respond to adversity with clarity, resilience, and strength.

Camille, as a warrior, being present in her body means acknowledging and honoring her experiences, whether they are moments of pain, discomfort, or triumph. It means listening to her body's cues and needs, and responding with compassion and self-care. By staying grounded in the present moment, she is navigating through difficult situations with greater resilience and determination.

Being present in your body also empowers you to harness your inner resources and tap into your innate strength and wisdom. It allows you to access a deep wellspring of courage, resilience, and perseverance that enables you to face challenges head-on, no matter how daunting they may seem.

Ultimately, Camille being present in her body, transformed her into a warrior by empowering her to embrace the fullness of her experience, navigate through adversity with grace and strength, and emerge from the battlefield with resilience, wisdom, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Camille is loving on and embracing her body…through everything!!!

Camille spent the summer of 1995 at Duke University, studying and dancing with famed choreographer, Shen Wei.

Shen’s story is pretty incredible. He was taken from his family as a child by the Chinese government and was forced to study, dance, opera, painting, etc. He has been incredibly successful!

Shen is known for many works, but primarily for his work on the Opening Ceremony at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, by choreographing the dance piece titled, Scroll Painting, in which dancers performed on a constant changing LED scroll of Chinese ink and wash paintings, depicting the evolution of China since ancient times.

Check it out here: The performance appears at the 23:45 - 29:00 minute mark.

2008 Beijing Olympics Opening Ceremony

Here are a few pictures. Some of Shen and Camille and some with the cast.  Camille was his partner in the piece he created so they became close lifelong friends.

The picture of Camille with her hip and stylish spiky blonde hair cut (January 1996) was after she spent 3 weeks in New York City, in December 1995, attending a winter Intensive at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. She was 23.

She looks Super Chic and Super Cool!!!

Update #23: Empowering Imagery: Harnessing Visualization in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

February 18th, 2024

17 Feb 2024

Harnessing the Power of Mindfulness as a Weapon

Camille, as the battle commander in her fight against this insidious foe, is using unconventional weapons. Let’s explore how she is deploying Visualization.

Visualizing involves harnessing the power of the mind to promote healing and resilience. Patients imagine their bodies as strong and healthy, visualizing their immune system actively attacking cancer cells. Using visualization as a weapon against cancer cells involves harnessing the mind's power to actively combat the disease. Patients envision their immune system as an army of warriors, attacking and eradicating cancer cells within the body. Through visualization, individuals focus on images of strength, resilience, and vitality, mentally directing their body's defenses to target and destroy the cancerous invaders. This practice not only cultivates a sense of empowerment and control but also stimulates the body's natural healing mechanisms. By integrating visualization techniques alongside conventional treatments, patients can enhance their overall well-being and optimize their chances of overcoming cancer.

Camille’s visualization looks something like this: (picture - her Warrior Angel)

“I am at WAR. My job is to supply the troops (my cells). My troops are going to the frontlines to deliver critical supplies and secret encoded messages as powerful soldiers equipped with weapons ready to identify and destroy insidious invaders. My immune cells swarm around the cancer cells, detecting them through specialized receptors. My immune cells unleash a barrage of attacks, releasing toxic chemicals and engulfing the cancer cells to neutralize them. The cancer cells, weakened and outnumbered, struggle to survive against the onslaught of the immune response. My Ground Troops (my innate immune cells) and my Special Forces (adaptive cells - adapts to invaders). Ground Troops are my  "Marines"; big and brawny (B cells) and they further support my “Special Forces” - buff and chiseled, sleek, swift, stealth and deadly (T cells). My immune cell Army makes Kryptonite, drops Precision Missiles, detonates Explosives, and fires fatal Artillery. I watch them deliver their payload and unload Fire and Fury to thine enemy within. I can see the cancer cells shrinking, disintegrating, exploding and being engulfed by immune cell Army. Victory is Mine, I have already Won this Battle!!!”

This destruction symbolizes the body's triumph over the disease. Through this visualization practice, Camille can cultivate a sense of empowerment and confidence in her body's ability to fight and overcome this internal foe. This mental imagery is serving as a source of motivation and resilience throughout her treatment journey.

Update #22: Its getting Hot in Here: Harnessing Infrared Sauna

Infrared Sauna: A Powerful Ally for Camille in her Fight Against Breast Cancer

In Camille’s battle against breast cancer, every weapon counts, and infrared sauna therapy emerges as a potent tool in this fight. Picture it as a warrior's secret weapon, offering unique benefits that complement conventional treatments and enhance the body's natural defenses.

1. **Targeted Heat Therapy:** Infrared saunas deliver penetrating heat deep into the body's tissues, targeting cancer cells at their core. This focused heat can disrupt cancer cell metabolism and weaken their defenses, making them more susceptible to other treatments like chemotherapy and radiation.

2. **Detoxification Arsenal:** Cancer thrives in a toxic environment, but infrared saunas act as detoxification chambers, flushing out harmful substances that fuel cancer growth. By promoting sweat production, they help expel toxins, heavy metals, and environmental pollutants, creating a cleaner internal environment that's hostile to cancer cells.

3. **Strengthening the Body's Defenses:** Like armor for the immune system, infrared sauna therapy boosts the body's natural defenses, priming it for battle against Camille’s breast cancer. By activating heat shock proteins and stimulating white blood cell production, it fortifies the immune response, empowering the body to identify and eliminate cancerous invaders. The heat from infrared saunas promotes vasodilation and enhanced circulation, which increases blood flow to tissues. Improved circulation can enhance the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to cells while aiding in the removal of metabolic waste products. Emerging research suggests that regular sauna use may have immunomodulatory effects, including the activation of heat shock proteins and the stimulation of white blood cell production. These immune-supportive effects can aid the body in recognizing and destroying cancerous cells, complementing conventional cancer treatments.

4. **Relentless Stress Reduction:** In the heat of battle, stress can be a formidable foe, weakening the body and compromising its ability to fight back. Infrared saunas offer a sanctuary of relaxation, melting away stress and tension with soothing warmth. By promoting deep relaxation and reducing cortisol levels, it creates an environment where Camille’s body can focus its energies on healing and resilience.

5. **Rejuvenating Recovery:** Amidst the chaos of treatment, infrared sauna therapy provides a sanctuary for recovery and rejuvenation. Its gentle heat promotes muscle relaxation, soothes aching joints, and eases the side effects of treatment, offering much-needed relief to the warrior that Camille embodies while she is on the front lines of her battle against breast cancer.

Infrared sauna therapy isn't just a luxury; it's a vital weapon in Camille’s arsenal of treatments for breast cancer. With its unique blend of targeted heat therapy, detoxification support, immune strengthening, stress reduction, and rejuvenating recovery, it stands as a beacon of hope and healing in Camille’s fight against this formidable adversary.

There are so many options on the market, but Camille is using the Infared Sauna blanket by HigherDose. The blanket emits infrared heat, directly warming up the body rather than the air around you. You sweat sooner and reach a higher core temperature. It also operates at a lower temperature, making it more comfortable for longer sessions. Infrared rays mimic the sun's healing capabilities but without the harshness of ultraviolet rays. While invisible, their long wavelengths penetrate beneath the skin's surface into the mitochondria. These are the cells' main providers of chemical energy, which the body needs to function optimally. As a result, heat is generated deep within the body's tissues and muscles, delivering multiple health advantages.

Text from Camille on 04 Feb 2024

“Hi all, didn't get to send these pictures yesterday. Ellen took me to remedy room  yesterday.  All went well.  But feeling funky today, just part of the ebb & flow, leaning in, resting & hydrating.  Sophia was home from school today with a cough (she's much better) so we rested together a lot. I'll text more tomorrow. Love you all ✨💖✨”

Ellen is Camille’ hair stylist guru and very dear friend. Her friendship contributes to Camille’s healing process by providing emotional support, reducing feelings of isolation, fostering a positive mindset, and creating a sense of belonging, which collectively enhances mental and physical well-being.

Scientific studies indicate that strong social connections can have a positive impact on health. These connections are associated with lower stress levels, improved mental well-being, and even enhanced recovery rates. The emotional support from friends can positively influence the immune system, contributing to an overall better healing experience.

Update #20: Mission 4 complete - Breathe!

February 2nd, 2024

1 Feb 2024 - Post Chemo Session 4

Sharing text thread from Camille to Bulliard Chicks:

“Ok, we did it! Mission #4 is complete WITHOUT any reactions!🙌🙌🙌. I can finally breathe... all the pre-meds did their job & I took a long, deep nap! Yahoo!!!!!❤️✨❤️💪💪💪. I have to be transparent - I was sitting in a lot of anxiety & fear this morning, about having a potential reaction again & all the 'what if's' that were possible from that. But luckily I had a super grounding call with Mom on my way to the infusion center & she helped me trust what I know - that I have a good team with a solid plan, and that it was ok to sit in the reality of my fears bc that's part of being human AND this is a very scary journey where I don't feel in total control of the outcome. She reminded me about what I can control. Melissa, you would have been proud of me - when the super uncontrollable shaking was coming on because I was nervous & afraid, I immediately held David's hand & did my square breathing, which was incredibly helpful. It was so calming to feel the warmth of his hand. Thank you all so very much. I am incredibly grateful this one is behind me. I also was reminding myself of what the hypnotherapist told me - the 'I Am' voice is Boss. I Am a healthy Camille, I get to chose my experience, I Am full on THE boss of my thoughts & my experiences - I get to choose. So powerful. Now it's time to turn my focus to mitigating any possible upcoming side effects so I'm hydrating, will begin fasting, alkalizing daily with my SWW greens to support my microbiome, then acupuncture & infrared sauna on Monday, back to vitamin C on Saturday!🙌💪🙏💖✨✨✨. Mom reminded me also during our talk that all of this is very similar to labor - you know what you can ahead, then you just have to surrender to the reality of what will be and ride through it and breathe. This is so very true. From the woman who had 8 natural births with very little, if any, prescribed meds. She's such an incredibly wise woman ✨❤️✨”

Harnessing Affirmations in Camille’s Fight Against Breast Cancer

Positive affirmations are powerful tools often utilized in various healing practices to promote physical well-being and facilitate the body's natural healing process. These affirmations are positive statements repeatedly spoken, written, or thought with the intention of replacing negative or self-destructive beliefs with positive and empowering ones. They serve to reprogram the mind and reframe one's perception of themselves and their health. Positive declarations can have a beneficial impact on the body at a cellular level through their influence on various physiological processes. Research suggests that positive affirmations can induce favorable changes in the body's stress response, neural networks, and overall well-being. Here are a few ways in which positive affirmations can affect the body at a cellular level:

1. Enhancing Mind-Body Connection: Positive affirmations help in establishing a harmonious relationship between the mind and body. By affirming positive messages, individuals can cultivate a deep sense of belief in their body's ability to heal itself, tap into its innate wisdom, and promote overall well-being. Through enhanced neural connections, the repetitive use of positive affirmations can strengthen neural pathways in the brain associated with self-belief and optimism. This process, known as neuroplasticity, allows for the creation of new connections and the rewiring of existing ones. These changes can influence cellular communication and the overall functioning of the nervous system.

2. Shifting Negative Thoughts and Beliefs: Negative thoughts and beliefs can create stress, anxiety, and hinder the body's healing processes. Positive affirmations counteract these negative patterns by replacing them with constructive and optimistic thoughts. By actively focusing on positive statements, individuals can release self-doubt, fear, and negativity, allowing the body to enter a more relaxed and receptive state.

3. Boosting the Immune System: Research suggests that positive emotions and thoughts have a positive impact on the immune system. Studies have shown that individuals with a positive mindset tend to have a stronger immune response. Positive affirmations may contribute to this effect by reducing the levels of stress hormones, improving mood, and enhancing overall well-being. A healthy immune system is crucial for maintaining cellular health and defending against infections and diseases. Regularly engaging in positive affirmations can stimulate the production of feel-good hormones, reduce stress hormones, and promote overall immune system function. This, in turn, fosters a healthier physical state and aids in healing.

4. Facilitating Stress Reduction:  Positive affirmations can help reduce the levels of stress hormones, such as cortisol, in the body. High cortisol levels have been linked to various negative health effects. By promoting positive thoughts and emotions, affirmations may help to counteract the negative impact of stress on cellular functioning. Chronic stress can have detrimental effects on the body's ability to heal. Positive affirmations serve as stress-relieving tools by shifting focus and redirecting attention towards hope, healing, and positive outcomes, effectively reducing stress levels and promoting relaxation.

5. Altered gene expression: Emerging evidence suggests that positive affirmations may influence gene expression. Certain studies suggest that positive thinking and affirmations can affect gene activity, particularly genes associated with stress response and inflammation. These changes in gene expression can impact cellular processes and contribute to improved health outcomes and encouraging self-healing. Positive affirmations empower individuals by reinforcing their belief in their body's innate (God Given) healing capacity. By affirming statements such as "My body is strong and resilient" or "I am deserving of vibrant health," individuals cultivate a sense of trust in their body's ability to heal itself. This mindset can positively impact one's healing journey and promote resilience.

Positive affirmations work best when combined with other healing practices, such as a healthy lifestyle and holistic approaches, like those that Camille is regularly executing in her battle against this insidious invader.

Update Update #17: High Dose IV Vitamin C - Liquid Sheild Image
Update #16: Precision Needles: Unconventional Approach in the Asymmetrical Battle Against Breast Cancer

January 26th, 2024

Acupuncture:  Tip of the Spear!

As a battle commander in her fight against breast cancer, Camille is deploying her most elite and specialized units - “tip of the spear” (Faith, Fasting, Food, Fitness, High Dose IV Vitamin C, Infrared Sauna, Bio-resonance feedback, nature therapy, meditation, etc) - as her advancing force to break through enemy defenses, paving the way for a broader attack. Adding Acupuncture is another weapon in her war chest, with literal “needles”.

Using acupuncture in the battle against breast cancer is like strategically placing skilled warriors with precision weapons on the battlefield. Acupuncture involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body, aiming to stimulate energy flow and promote overall well-being. Acupuncture needles are slender, sterile, and typically made of stainless steel. They vary in length and thickness. Contrary to hypodermic needles, acupuncture needles are solid and designed to be very thin, often as fine as a human hair. Their purpose is to penetrate the skin gently, causing minimal discomfort, as they stimulate specific acupuncture points. The precise and careful insertion of these needles is a fundamental aspect of acupuncture therapy.

In the context of breast cancer, acupuncture is seen as a complementary tactic, aiding conventional treatments. The precise placement of each needle represents a targeted intervention, helping manage specific aspects of Camille’s cancer battle, such as alleviating pain, reducing stress, manage nausea and fatigue or addressing other side effects from conventional treatments, a strategic approach to enhance the body's natural defenses. While not actual weapons, the metaphorical use of acupuncture needles underscores the precision and intention behind this complementary approach in supporting Camilles breast cancer battle.

Camille found a diverse community of professionals at The Camelia House! And a superb therapist in John Hebert. The Acupuncture Center of Acadiana was founded in 1997 by John, a licensed & board certified practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. https://www.cameliahouse.com/

John posses a high level of technical proficiency and skill in accurately placing needles, and adjusting needle stimulation. His diagnostic ability effectively assessed Camille and considered both traditional Chinese medicine principles and modern medical knowledge to tailor her acupuncture treatment plans to her individual needs. He emulates a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, creating a supportive and comfortable environment for Camille, further building trust and aiding in her overall healing process. During their initial encounter, John explained the treatment process, addressed all of Camille’s concerns and provided guidance on post-treatment care as well as lifestyle adjustments. A superb holistic approach, considering not only the specific symptoms she is experiencing, but for her overall well-being. His ‘Patient-Centered Focus’ prioritizes her needs and preferences while fostering a collaborative approach to treatment and ensuring a positive therapeutic experience.

Text from Camille:

“Picture is from acupuncture yesterday…. More than anything, it helps to regulate my nervous system, Ive found that it has also helped me have less anxiety, panic, & so much less tension in my gut as I’m trying to ease past this gastric distress; a calm mind & calm nervous system relaxes everything else. He also leaves small needles in my ears that touch on the vagus nerve (sp?) which has a direct gut-brain connection. It’s so incredible how the gut & brain are connected so much & how all affects the nervous system.”

Update Update #16: Precision Needles: Unconventional Approach in the Asymmetrical Battle Against Breast Cancer Image
Update #15: Don’t Break-the-Fast: Strategic Starvation

January 24th, 2024

23 Jan 2024

I know we promised an update about “Precision Needles” as part of Camille’s breast cancer battle strategy, but we want to first talk about her strategy of starvation…actually, deliberate starvation known as Fasting.

Metabolic Intricacies: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

In normal cells, there is a controlled balance between processes like energy production, growth, and cell death. But in cancer cells, these regulatory mechanisms become disrupted, leading to abnormal metabolic patterns. Cancer as a metabolic disease refers to the understanding that alterations in cellular metabolism play a significant role in the development and progression of cancer.

One hallmark of cancer metabolism is the increased reliance on glycolysis, even in the presence of oxygen, known as the Warburg effect. Glycolysis is the metabolic pathway that involves the breakdown of glucose (SUGAR) into simpler molecules to generate energy. This process occurs in the cytoplasm of the cells and is anaerobic, meaning it doesn't require oxygen. Glycolysis is a foundational step in cellular respiration, and it plays a crucial role in producing adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the cell's primary energy currency. Cancer cells FAVOR this inefficient energy production method and will exhibit changes in nutrient uptake and utilization to support their rapid growth. Therefore, you can view cancer through a metabolic lens. This revelation has opened avenues for research into therapeutic strategies targeting these specific metabolic vulnerabilities. Understanding the metabolic alterations (starvation) in cancer cells is leading to more targeted and effective treatments.

Breakfast? No thank you, Camille is FASTING

How do you starve cancer cells without starving the host? Deliberate Fasting!

Fasting is believed to be highly effective at a metabolic level in starving cancer cells due to several reasons. During deliberate and prolonged fasting, the body shifts into a state of ketosis, relying on ketone (fat) bodies for energy instead of glucose (sugar). Cancer cells often heavily depend on glucose (sugar) for their rapid growth. By significantly limiting glucose availability through fasting, Camille is able to create an environment less conducive to cancer cell proliferation. In fact, down right hostile! In this battle, the commander, Camille, is creating a hostile environment for the enemy (cancer) through a tactical approach of “cutting supply lines” by disrupting the enemy's (cancer) logistics and supply chains, depriving the mutant evil doers, of its essential resources. Essentially Guerrilla Warfare of hit-and-run attacks and un-predictability of the next “FAST”.

Fasting as a strategy involves a deliberate and controlled period of abstaining from food or specific nutrients and is considered a strategic approach to induce metabolic changes, such as shifting the body into ketosis or promoting autophagy. Fasting can enhance the body's stress response, promoting autophagy—a process where cells remove damaged components. This process can eliminate harmful cells, including cancerous cells. These metabolic changes during fasting create an unfavorable environment for cancer cells, contributing to the effectiveness observed in numerous studies.

Speaking of Observation:

Update Update #14: Sisterhood in Wellness: Navigating the Path Together with High-Dose Vitamin C Image
Update #13: Reiki - Life Force Energy

January 20th, 2024

Unconventional Warfare:

As we introduced Camille’s approach to her battle against breast cancer, we discussed several of her alternative approaches. Now let’s talk about Reiki!

Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly referred to as energy healing. When combined with more traditional therapies, Reiki is complementary as it works on the subtle level of the body (at a spiritual, energetic level) activating the body’s own innate healing response; initiating mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Reiki originated in Japan as a technique for stress reduction. The word Reiki is comprised of two Japanese symbols (Rei and Ki) which translate to “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and “Life Force Energy”, in essence “spiritually guided life force energy”. It’s based on the idea that there is an unseen “Life Force Energy” flowing within and around us, creating the ability to sustain life. When our LFE is low, we are more likely to feel sick or stressed. When our LFE is high, we are more naturally vibrant, healthy, and happy.

After her breast cancer diagnosis in November 2023, Camille was re-introduced to a very dear family friend, Therese Maraist. Therese is a highly credentialed Reiki Master and has a 20yr plus thriving practice in Lafayette, LA. It truly was a serendipitous meeting of the minds. Camille had her first Reiki session with Therese on 15 December 2023.

Therese guided Camille into a relaxed state of being and used her hands to gently touch and hover over specific areas of her body, referred to as  "laying on hands" or "energy channeling”, aiming to transmit healing energy and promote relaxation. This process is based on the belief in a flow of life energy, and the practitioner acts as a conduit to facilitate the balance and harmony of this energy within the recipient. Camille experienced a sensation of warmth within and around her body, a subtle tingling sensation and a sense of deep relaxation. Some people express feeling profound wisdom and insight. Reiki treats all aspects of a person: body, mind, emotions, and spirit, leading to benefits which include relaxation, peace, security, and well-being. It works extremely well in conjunction with more traditional medical/healing treatments to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

In Camille’s battle, engaging in Reiki, is her non-traditional, subtle approach—akin to an unconventional warfare tactic. Both involve channels that may not be immediately visible or understood by conventional means. Reiki focuses on energy and relaxation, operating on a different plane than traditional medical treatments. Unconventional warfare similarly employs strategies outside the typical battlefield scenarios. Reiki is another weapon in her combat arsenal in the form of a holistic approach she is using for relaxation, stress reduction and deep spiritual connections.

Update #12: Does High Dose IV Vitamin C therapy Kill Cancer Cells?

Apoptosis - in Latin means to “fall off”

Camille asked Dr Mary a very crucial question when she saw her yesterday at The Remedy Room.

Here is the link to the video:

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2IRH17rBRj/?igsh=NmZ0ZHk0ZjVkeHc2

High Dose Intravenous (IV) Vitamin C has been studied extensively for its role in cancer treatment. There are over ninety-one thousand publications on PubMed regarding the effect of high dose vitamin C on cancer. In the context of apoptosis, High Dose IV Vitamin C can induce oxidative stress within cancer cells. This oxidative stress will trigger apoptosis, leading to the programmed death of cancer cells. This mechanism involves the accumulation of hydrogen peroxide as vitamin C breaks down in the body. Elevated levels of hydrogen peroxide will cause damage to cancer cells, prompting them to undergo Apoptosis - the process of programmed cell death.

Hydrogen Peroxide Formation

Vitamin C is a potent anti-oxidant, meaning that it helps to prevent damage to our cells from unstable (oxidizing) molecules.

However, at high concentrations, vitamin C acts as a selective pro-oxidant, and challenges cancer cells at a metabolic level, delivering Hydrogen Peroxide directly to cancer cells, while at the same time does no damage whatsoever to normal functioning healthy cells. Cancer cells, unlike healthy human cells, are both flawed and primeval.

Cancer cells are lacking in many enzymes that normal healthy cells have in copious amounts. One example of a particular enzyme that transforms oxygen and water into Hydrogen Peroxide is catalase. Cancer cells have very small amounts of catalase, so they are not able to convert the Hydrogen Peroxide into water and oxygen and as a result, they are Oxidized and Killed Off. Hydrogen Peroxide is an unstable molecule which will cause cell damage and cell death as it accumulates. Research shows that Hydrogen Peroxide accumulation is the mechanism by which intravenous vitamin C kills cancer cells.

Bottom Line, High Dose IV Vitamin C therapy is very good for healthy cells and very bad for the cancer cells.

Imagine apoptosis in the context of a battle. More specifically, Camille’s breast cancer battle. Apoptosis can be likened to a strategic elimination of enemy forces. Picture cancer cells as adversaries threatening her body's well-being. Apoptosis, via the High Dose IV Vitamin C therapy, serves as a controlled and targeted response, acting like a precision strike against these mutant cells. It's a programmed process that identifies and eliminates the enemy, while ensuring the overall health and integrity of the body, much like a military operation aims to neutralize specific threats without causing unnecessary collateral damage.

Update #11: A Liquid Gold Bridge to Cellular Health and Resilience

January 14th, 2024

14 Jan 2024

Camille is back at the Remedy Room in Metairie, LA today, accompanied by our sister Melissa.

As a reminder, Camille received a High Dose (75 grams) IV Vitamin C before Chemotherapy Session 3 (her halfway point) and she has today received a High Dose (75 gams) IV Vitamin C after Chemo Session 3…the Bridging Approach!

Text and pictures from Camille:

“It's a liquid sunshine morning again! Getting my armor! ☀️☀️☀️. Whole place to myself!  We were just gifted with a wonderful conversation with Dr. Mary. I'm grateful to say that I'm feeling really good this morning!☀️☀️☀️✨✨✨”

The bridging approach of receiving IV Vitamin C before and after chemotherapy is a strategy that aims to create a continuum, optimizing the benefits of both interventions.

1. **Before Chemotherapy - Preparing the Terrain:**

   - **Boosting Immunity:** IV Vitamin C administered before chemotherapy acts as a preemptive strike, enhancing the immune system and helps the body better withstand the upcoming treatment.

   - **Reducing Side Effects:** Studies suggest that pre-chemo IV Vitamin C can mitigate certain side effects and improve the overall well-being of the patient.

2. **After Chemotherapy - Facilitating Recovery:**

   - **Aiding Recovery:** Post-chemo IV Vitamin C serves as a bridge to the recovery phase, assisting in the restoration of the immune system and overall health.

   - **Reducing Oxidative Damage:** Receiving IV Vitamin C after chemotherapy, minimizes oxidative damage and supports the body's natural healing processes.

The bridging approach reflects a comprehensive strategy that recognizes the benefits of High Dose IV Vitamin C in different phases of Camille’s cancer treatment journey.

Thank you all for Following and Sharing this GSC campaign for our youngest sister Camille.  And Thank You for being an essential part of this endeavor.

Update #10: Critical Juncture - Halfway Point

January 12th, 2024

11 Jan 2024 - Chemotherapy Session 3 - MISSION COMPLETE

Camille’s chemotherapy session 3 marks her halfway point of the 6 planned sessions in this battle.

The halfway point in her battle marks a critical juncture, a moment of reflection and assessment amid the intensity of her combat. The halfway point embodies a dynamic shift, demanding resilience, adaptability, and the strategic acumen to navigate the remaining challenges ahead of her with determination and focus!

Text from Camille:

“ #3 is behind us y'all!🙌🙌🙌. We are back home, picked up kids, all is so very right in my world at this moment. Day was fairly easy. Did have a reaction again with the Perjetta, even with the additional pre-meds of Benadryl & Ativan but not as intense as last time, & was at the very end of the dose. I was asleep & woke up bc began to feel slight back spasms again, & some chest tightness. But again, much less intense. The dose was finished, so the nurse turned it off, flushed all with saline & gave me the remainder of the Benadryl & the additional pre-meds of steroids & nausea meds. All eventually calmed down.

Clear conclusion - I am allergic to something in the Perjetta, even at a very slow drip (over an hour) & with pre-meds. NP came to check on all & was very helpful. She will talk to doc about how to move forward & call me tomorrow. I know Perjetta is one of the drugs that I need for the type of mutant cells that I have, so I'll see what she says. May just have to get through to get beyond all, & adjust with different pre-meds.

I'll keep you posted. But the major WIN today - I am half way through scaling this cliff🙌🙌🙌❤️ ” .

Your unwavering support for Camille’s GiveSendGo campaign has touched her heart deeply. Your contributions, both financially and through encouraging words and prayers, have been instrumental in her journey.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being a vital part of this campaign!

Update #7: Fortifying the Frontlines: IV Vitamin C Infusion - Preparing for the Chemo Battle

January 11th, 2024

10 Jan 2024

Sister Sue and Camille traveled to the Remedy Room in Metairie, LA on 10 Jan 2024, so Camille could fortify her body in preparation for Chemotherapy Session 3, scheduled for 11 Jan 2024. Please pray for an uneventful chemo session.

It was, what we call, a “Bluebird Day”. The weather was crisp and cool and the light blue sky above was peppered with wispy, delicate and ethereal cloud formations that appeared feathery and soft, resembling delicate strands of fine silk. Their wispy appearance added a touch of grace and elegance to the sky, creating a serene and picturesque atmosphere. These delicate strands, like celestial brushstrokes, painted a picture of ethereal grace and transcendent beauty. Their wispy nature, dancing gently across the heavens, a true omnipresent influence and the perfect symbol of HIS divine presence. A visual hymn, placed there just for Camille! A testament to HIS divine artistry that graces our heavens. What an extraordinary gentle reminder of the Sacred in the vast expanse of the sky!

Camille’s High Dose IV Vitamin C session was perfect and she received the higher dose of 75 grams. Operation Immune Army Re-Supply - mission accomplished!

This robust resupply mission for her immune system functions as a powerful reinforcement, flooding her body with an abundance of antioxidants and nutrients. Much like delivering essential provisions to fortify a stronghold, the High Dose IV Vitamin C infusion strategically enhances her immune system's capabilities. This resupply aims to equip her immune defenses with the strength needed to combat the challenges created by chemotherapy.

No doubt about it, Camille is a warrior, preparing for battle, and as a skilled warrior, she recognizes the paramount importance of meticulous mental and physical preparation before entering battle, thus significantly influencing the outcome of the impending confrontation. Just as a well-prepared military warrior sharpens their skills, hones their strategy, and equips themselves with the necessary tools, Camille’s art of preparation is a testament to her foresight and discipline. It is her key to facing challenges with resilience and ensuring that every aspect of her battle, from tactics to mindset, are finely tuned for success…Victory over HER internal foe.

Here's what we say to the "C" word..... Camille is coming for YOU!

1. **Building Strength:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Boosts the body's antioxidant levels, potentially enhancing overall health and vitality.

   - **Warrior Preparation:** Involves physical training and conditioning to build strength and endurance.

2. **Fortifying Defenses:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Acts as a potential antioxidant, supporting the body's defense against oxidative stress.

   - **Warrior Preparation:** Includes fortifying defenses with armor and protective gear.

3. **Enhancing Resilience:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Aims to strengthen the body's resilience, aiding in recovery.

   - **Warrior Preparation:** Focuses on mental and emotional resilience through training and preparation.

4. **Strategic Readiness:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Administered strategically before chemo to optimize the body's response.

   - **Warrior Preparation:** Involves strategic planning, intelligence, and readiness for various scenarios in battle.

5. **Facing Challenges:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Supports the body in facing the challenges of chemotherapy.

   - **Warrior Preparation:** Equips soldiers to face challenges on the battlefield with training and mental preparedness.

In both cases, the emphasis is on readiness, resilience, and strategic preparation to confront the impending challenges – whether it's the physical demands of chemotherapy or the rigors of a battlefield!

More Liquid Gold - High Dose IV Vitamin C (50grams)

David took Camille, along with Sophia and Roman, to Metairie, LA (Greater New Orleans Area-a 2 1/2 hour drive from Youngsville) for Camille to receive her high dose IV Vitamin C at the wonderful Remedy Room. David and the kids had the opportunity to explore where Camille was receiving this amazing revolutionary treatment. After helping Camille get settled, David and the kids found their way to the Children’s Museum where they had an enriching experience filled with laughter, exploration and learning. It was a great distraction.

Since having a drug reaction during Session 2 chemotherapy treatment on 21 Dec 2023, the staff at the Remedy Room recommended the 50 gram dosage since Camille had received that dosage at her last appointment with them.  She did phenomenal and felt amazing afterwards. The drive home, with sufficiently exhausted kids, was a breeze!

This is a picture of Camille, David and the kiddos heading to the Remedy Room.

Of note, Camille is receiving Intravenous Vitamin C at high doses (50-75 grams i.e. 50,000 - 75,000 mg).

High dose intravenous (IV) vitamin C and oral vitamin C differ in their absorption rates, concentrations, and effects:

1. **Absorption:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Administered directly into the bloodstream, leading to rapid and high concentrations in the blood.

   - **Oral Vitamin C:** Absorbed through the digestive system, with limited absorption rates. Higher oral doses may lead to lower absorption efficiency.

2. **Concentration:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Achieves higher blood concentrations compared to oral intake. This can result in reaching levels not achievable with oral supplementation.

   - **Oral Vitamin C:** Blood concentrations are limited due to absorption constraints, even with large oral doses.

3. **Tissue Penetration:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** May reach higher levels in tissues due to increased blood concentrations, potentially affecting cancer cells selectively.

   - **Oral Vitamin C:** Tissue concentrations might be lower due to limited absorption rates.

4. **Purpose:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Often used in medical settings, including complementary cancer therapies. Advocates suggest it can have antioxidant and pro-oxidant effects.

   - **Oral Vitamin C:** Commonly used for general health, immune support, and antioxidant benefits.

5. **Side Effects:**

   - **IV Vitamin C:** Generally considered safe when administered by healthcare professionals. High doses may cause rare side effects.

   - **Oral Vitamin C:** Generally safe, with gastrointestinal issues (e.g., diarrhea) being the main side effect at high doses.

Thank you for reading this update. Thank you for standing with Camille, David and their beautiful and amazing kids and being a vital part of this GiveSendGo campaign. We thank you for sharing Camille’s story and keeping her in your daily prayers.

Update Update #6: A Family Affair - To the Remedy Room they Go Image
Update #5: Camille’s Chemo Chronicles: Weathering the Storm - Resilience Tested

January 10th, 2024

Chemo Session 2: 21 Dec 2023

Chemotherapy Session 2 proved to be a Bear! As a reminder, Chemotherapy Session 1 (3 weeks before) was a loading dose. Chemo Session 2, was half the loading dose! The picture is of her getting ready to receive the drug cocktail for Session 2, giving us the “thumbs up”.

Adverse Event

Camille had a FULL blown drug reaction to the chemotherapy Session 2, experiencing an elevated heart rate, difficulty breathing, throat tightness and excruciating lower back spasms. !!! Terrifying.

Her healthcare team promptly assessed the situation and took appropriate measures and she responded well. But OMG!

David had stepped away from the Infusion area to grab them each a coffee, and returned to find the nursing staff surrounding Camille, responding with swift and coordinated action, transforming the atmosphere into controlled urgency as the Infusion Center staff, well-trained and focused, assessed her condition. Their response was precise, immediately discontinuing the chemo drugs and initiating their emergency protocols. Then the nursing staff administered the necessary interventions. Clear-headed and calm, they offered Camille and David reassurance and kept them informed about all the steps being taken. Simultaneously, the nursing team communicated with Camille’s Oncology healthcare team, providing them with real-time updates on her response and the actions administered.

Here is the text we all received from Camille, later that evening:

“Ok, mission #2 completed 🙌💪. We're back home. I feel ok. I did have a reaction to the Perjetta this morning, even though was 1/2 the dose - sudden flush face, throat tightening, chest tightening & intense lower back spasms. The nurses acted immediately, turned off med, gave me Benadryl right away, & Ativan to help me relax bc I was absolutely headed into a panic attack.🤦‍♀️. Those worked immediately, so I basically slept the rest of the day which may have been best. We took a break from the Perjetta then started again very slow & all was fine. So that's the plan for next round - move very slowly & add those two to pre meds before anything else. I'd rather move slow & be there all day than experience that again! I'm ok now. But was very frightening in the moment! Ok, just had to update. One step at a time. Love you all❤️❤️❤️”

Camille experiencing this chemo reaction is sadly part of the battle engagement. Her treatment regimen (4 drug cocktail), much like a military campaign, involves strategic moves, adaptability and resilience. Her adverse effects from the chemotherapy have become a battleground, where her body's response to treatment represents the ongoing struggle. Each reaction, akin to a skirmish, she has faced with determination and met with medical interventions as her tactical maneuvers.

Despite the challenges, every treatment session is a decisive move and the overall objective remains clear: to Overcome, Conquer, Vanquish, Defeat, and Triumph over her Adversary - insidious breast cancer!

Your unwavering support has been a beacon of strength throughout Camille’s journey. As she continues to face the challenges ahead, our family is profoundly grateful for your love, prayers, and generosity that surround her. Thank you for being an integral part of this transformative journey. With heartfelt appreciation!

Update #4: Elevating Hope: Wigs and High Dose IV Vitamin C

January 9th, 2024

Alexandria

In the last update we revealed Camille’s decision to remove her beautiful, golden, soft, curly locks. As difficult as that was, she embraced not only this physical transformation, but also an emotional and spiritual metamorphosis, fostering a personal evolution in her battle against breast cancer.

But, there are so many wonderful and fun wigs on the market and sister Melissa provided the perfect consultation. Melissa stepped Camille through choosing the perfect wig that was not only comfortable and beautiful but instilled confidence. And Dave helped pick the perfect color. It is such a blessing to have so many options when it comes to wigs…and they all have such fun names.

Text from Camille: Mon, 18 Dec 2023

”Took Alexandria out for a test run today to Sophia's choir concert, & grocery story. I was nervous but stayed focused on my girl. She wasn't fazed at all!💖🙌✨🙏✨. The color is a bit light for me but it is the best fit for now, so we're just going to have fun with her!!

We think that attitude is called “winning”!!

Liquid Armor: High Dose IV Vitamin C - Bridging

Sister Sue took Camille to the Remedy Room before her scheduled 21 Dec 2023 chemotherapy session and sister Melissa took her on the Saturday after her session…bridging approach. The picture was taken at the Remedy Room, showing off her new hairstyle, Alexandria. She looks marvelous!!

Why High Dose IV Vitamin C?

High Dose Intravenous (IV) Vitamin C offers several benefits as an adjunctive approach for breast cancer:

1. **Antioxidant Properties:** High Dose Vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant, helping to neutralize free radicals and reduce oxidative stress, which is linked to cancer development.

2. **Immune System Support:** Vitamin C is known to support the immune system. A robust immune response is crucial for the body's ability to detect and eliminate cancer cells.

3. **Collagen Formation:** Vitamin C plays a role in collagen formation, contributing to tissue repair and potentially inhibiting the spread of cancer cells.

4. **Selective Toxicity to Cancer Cells:** High concentrations of Vitamin C in the bloodstream can selectively target cancer cells, promoting apoptosis (programmed cell death) in malignant cells while sparing normal cells.

5. **Enhanced Chemotherapy Effects:** Some studies suggest that combining High Dose IV Vitamin C with certain chemotherapeutic agents may enhance the effectiveness of chemotherapy while reducing its toxic side effects.

6. **Improved Quality of Life:** Patients undergoing cancer treatment often experience fatigue and reduced well-being. High Dose IV Vitamin C has been associated with improvements in overall quality of life during cancer therapy.

Camille is overwhelmed with gratitude from your generous support, prayers and words of encouragement; powerful gestures of solidarity, compassion, and hope that further fuels her determination to face this challenge with strength and resilience.

Thank you for sharing her story and this campaign.

Update Update #4: Elevating Hope: Wigs and High Dose IV Vitamin C Image
Update #3: Resilient Strands: Navigating Camille's Battlefield - Chemo and Hair Loss

January 7th, 2024

As mentioned in Update #2, as Camille’s chemotherapy journey unfolds, her body has become a battleground against an invading enemy within. Similar to an enemy force, the mutant cancer cells can exhibit uncontrolled growth and aggression, breaching the body's natural defenses. But her defense strategy, involves chemotherapy, aiming to suppress and eliminate these aberrant cells while restoring harmony, using the chemotherapy as strategic moves against her internal foe. Much like a military operation, the chemotherapy treatments are launching an assault on her enemy within. Unfortunately, amidst this battle, she has experienced the collateral damage of – Hair Loss…a casualty in the fight for Victory.

But each strand lost is a testament to the sacrifices made by her, David and their children (Sophia and Roman), in this war on her breast cancer. Yet, just as soldiers emerge stronger from the crucible of combat, Camille, David and the kids, found tremendous resilience in the face of her hair loss, a symbol of the courage and determination required to overcome a relentless adversary.

Camille knew it wasn’t, “If”, but “When”. And the loading dose of chemo showed its true and ugly colors. But like a Warrior, a Commander, she was prepared and made a preemptive strike. She and sister Melissa researched and purchased the perfect wigs!

Then, on 17 December 2023, Camille called her Dream Team stylist, Ellen and Delanna. Recognizing the emotional aspect of hair loss during chemotherapy treatment, Ellen and Delanna created a supportive and comforting atmosphere in Camille and Davids home. They all prayed together before beginning. Ellen was not just skilled with the clippers and scissors, but served as a source of encouragement, guiding Camille through the process with empathy. The “Dream Team” stylist understood the importance of this haircut as a symbol of strength and renewal, making the experience positive and empowering. Operation “Buzz Cut” commenced.

We think she wears the buzz cut well. Even more Beautiful!

This decisive move, allowed Camille to take control and to enhance her focus…and make a deliberate Transformation.

Embracing her buzz cut further reflects her valor and proactive stance – her “Visible” commitment to navigating all these challenges with strength and resilience!!

Thank you all for following our courageous little sister Camille, keeping her in your prayers and supporting and sharing this campaign. You all have blessed her with your words of inspiration and your generosity, beyond measure!!

Update Update #3: Resilient Strands: Navigating Camille's Battlefield - Chemo and Hair Loss Image
Update #2 : Challenges and Triumphs: Going to War

January 6th, 2024

Camille had her first chemo session on 30 November 2023. The Oncology team is wasting no time to eradicate this aggressive type of cancer. Despite all the instruction and education on “what to expect”, none of us were quite prepared for the onslaught of side effects, to say the least, especially Camille.

Chemo Session 1: 30 Nov 2023

Her first chemotherapy dose was a loading dose. She is receiving a cocktail of four different drugs. This initial, higher dose is often necessary to quickly achieve therapeutic levels in the body. The loading dose of chemotherapy can be challenging for patients due to potential side effects and the intensity of the treatment. Camille experienced them ALL: increased fatigue, nausea, diarrhea, fever with a greater risk of infection, loss of appetite, aches and pains…then, came the hair loss! Her healthcare team closely monitored and helped her and David manage the side effects. Despite the difficulty, the loading dose was a crucial step in initiating the treatment and working towards the desired therapeutic outcome in her fight against this insidious cancer.

However brutal, she is resilient, a warrior and found her “battle rhythm” in combating the side effects and found gratitude, joy, relief and peace in every subsequent day.

This picture is of her receiving her first chemotherapy session. Our caption for this picture: “not today you insidious mutant cells, I’m coming for you, guns a blazing”.

Her battle is real!

Thank you for following Camille’s journey and your continued support and prayers.  God Bless You!

Update Update #2 : Challenges and Triumphs: Going to War Image
Update #1 - Treatment Plan: Conventional and Alternative – Asymmetric Warfare

January 5th, 2024

An aggressive chemotherapy plan involves a systematic and intensive treatment approach aimed at combatting the cancer. Camille’s plan includes a series of six high-dose IV (via Med-Port, placed 20 Nov 2023) chemotherapy sessions, strategically scheduled to target and eradicate cancer cells. The objective is to halt or slow down the progression of the disease to then allow for a Total Mastectomy and ultimately remission. Throughout the process, close monitoring of her response and managing side effects are crucial components to ensure the best possible outcome.

There is no other way to say it other than Chemo IS Brutal!

In an effort to combat the brutal side effects and strengthen Camille’s God given immune system, in complement to traditional chemotherapy, Camille is incorporating alternative therapies, a holistic approach, to address both the physical and emotional aspects of battling breast cancer. This includes practices such as acupuncture, yoga, meditation, dietary adjustments, infrared sauna and High Dose Intravenous (IV) Vitamin C.

She has done an extraordinary amount of research on “killing cancer” and improving outcomes. Highest recommendation is for the use of High-Dose (50-75grams) IV Vitamin C as an alternative and adjunctive holistic therapy approach for breast cancer. Due to its antioxidant properties and immune-boosting effects, numerous studies demonstrate that high doses of IV vitamin C can support conventional cancer treatments (chemotherapy) by making them more effective, while minimizing side effects and enhancing the overall well-being of the patient. Camille is enrolled with The Remedy Room in Metairie, LA to receive High Dose IV Vitamin C in a “bridging” approach: High Dose IV Vitamin C a day or two before each chemo session and then another dose a day or two after each chemo session. The High Dose IV Vitamin C therapy is very expensive, and is not covered by any insurers and requires her to take a day to travel to and from Metairie, LA.

High Dose IV Vitamin C (Liquid Armor): Operation Immune Sentinel: Fortifying the Body's Defenses

27 Nov 2023. 3 days prior to Camille’s first Chemotherapy loading dose session.

After thorough consultation with The Remedy Room staff, Camille received her first High Dose IV Vitamin C. Sister Melissa and our mom, Jane, accompanied Camille on this first trip to The Remedy Room. All of these alternative therapies Camille is employing, aim to enhance overall well-being, alleviate chemo treatment side effects, and promote mental resilience.

For our youngest sister Camille, battling cancer with strength and determination, she has launched her own personal relentless military operation. And our strategy involves arming her with hope, courage, and unwavering support while leveraging every alternative approach possible. Each High Dose IV Vitamin C (Liquid Armor) treatment is a strategic move, and every act of resilience is a Victory!

With your continued love, support and enduring prayers, we can help Camille conquer this battle with the tenacity of a well-coordinated military campaign!! Please join us on this battlefield….
