Help Brandon Rebuild His Life After Wrongful Imprisonment and Continued Struggles:
My name is Brandon Fellows, despite suffering from autism (high functioning Asperger’s), I use to own and operate 2 companies in upstate NY, prior to my life being ruined. I’m reaching out to ask for your help as I rebuild my life after years of wrongful imprisonment, ongoing legal struggles, and countless obstacles. In 2021, at 26 years old, I was charged and later convicted—by a kangaroo court—of my first and only felony, related to the events of January 6th. The Supreme Court has since ruled this charge was improperly applied. Prior to this ruling, I endured 5 months of house arrest in a home that wasn’t mine (where I was not allowed to work) and then 1,075 days in 12 different jails and prisons.
Since my release on May 20, 2024, I’ve been required to remain within 50 miles of Washington, DC—seven hours from my home in Niskayuna, NY. During this time, I’ve been blessed to assist at the Eagle’s Nest, a DC home led by Micki Witthoeft,, the mother of Ashli Babbitt (who was shot and killed by Officer Michael Byrd), and Nicole Reffitt, the wife of Guy Reffitt, the first January 6th defendant to go to trial. The Eagle’s Nest served as a lifeline for J-6 families and defendants, and it will continue to do so until we all go our separate ways 3/1/25, mission accomplished. It provides/ provided housing, food, and transportation for those coming to DC for court appearances or for recently released defendants as they transition back home. The home also offers/ offered emotional support and advocacy, attending congressional hearings and meeting with representatives to fight for fair treatment and the release of those still incarcerated.

My Story
On January 6, 2021, I had no idea that the rally 2 miles away at the White House grounds/ Ellipse I attended would eventually lead to the Capitol building. I was so under the impression that police were protesting alongside us—or at least permitting us entry(for various reasons)—that I recorded a now-famous video of a Capitol officer giving me and others permission to proceed further into the building. I share the video with you here, it’s on my Tic-tok (I know many don’t like Tic-Tok, I apologize, it’s just super easy): https://www.tiktok.com/@brandon.fellows4/video/7455402922482978094
Believing I had done nothing wrong, the second I left the Capitol building I shared my name, city, and details about my presence there live on CNN, to the hilarious dismay of my lovely democrat mother. Little did I know, the FBI and DOJ would not be as kind to me as the Capitol Police were, it made it easier for the FBI to identify and arrest me 10 days later, I was arrest number 70 something out the 1600 plus that would be arrested.
While in jail, I was subjected to atrocious and unconstitutional conditions (which I recorded and snuck out video proof of: (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2022/05/exclusive-footage-secret-video-recordings-leaked-inside-hole-dc-gitmo-first-footage-ever-released-inside-dc-gitmo-political-prison/)
Still, I focused on helping others. I ghostwrote articles for fellow inmates (see included thank you letter/ photo from one of them), connected them with resources to create their own GiveSendGo campaigns, and raised money for their legal and personal needs. Despite having no prior legal experience, I played a significant role in aiding the creation of two vigils: the Northern Neck Jail Vigil and the Lewis-burg Prison Vigil, along with also getting us Sixers some of our constitutional rights back at multiple facilities while representing myself. My efforts, combined with the dedication of others in and outside of the jails, made these impactful events possible. Since my release, I’ve also assisted in maintaining the DC Jail Vigil, which has just ended after over 906 consecutive days. The ending was so beautiful to be a part of.
The challenges of incarceration taught me resilience, purpose, and the importance of community. These lessons have and will continue to shape my approach to life today.

Rebuilding My Life
Since my release, I’ve been working hard to rebuild my life and return to the work I love. I still have my equipment from my chimney business, but restarting has been challenging. When I finally received permission to return to New York to retrieve my equipment, it was more than halfway through the busy season. A kind friend donated a truck to help me, but while preparing it for inspection, the brake line snapped, causing it to roll into a tree. Thankfully, no one was injured, but I was forced to return to DC empty-handed, further delaying my ability to restart my business.
Raising the necessary funds through this campaign will allow me to prepare in time for the next chimney season. Missing another busy season would mean delaying my recovery even further. Your support will make all the difference in ensuring I can hit the ground running, rebuild my business, regain stability, and get my financial and literal independence back for the first time in over 4 years.
The delay, combined with the high cost of living in DC, has drained my savings as I was forced to wait in regaining full freedom. Now, I’m asking for your support to help me move forward and rebuild.

Where Your Support Will Go
Your contributions will directly help rebuild my life:
• Secure Reliable Transportation: $8,000-ish for a work truck or van with ladder racks.
• Reestablish My Business: $3,500-ish for certifications, insurance, and business registration.

Anything beyond this will go toward improving my business and creating opportunities for others to join it.

Looking Forward
While being required to remain in DC has been challenging, it’s also been meaningful. I’ve had the privilege of witnessing history and playing a role in supporting the J-6 community. From assisting at the Eagle’s Nest to maintaining the DC Jail Vigil and witnessing the release of the last January 6th defendant from the DC jail, these experiences have strengthened my resolve to keep moving forward.
I’m ready to rebuild my chimney business, serve my community, and turn these difficult years into a foundation for a brighter future. With your help, I can overcome these challenges and return stronger than ever.
