Catholic Truth:
The two most significant books of all time outside the Bible are from Anne Catherine Emmerich and Mary of Agreda.
They have the advantage of presenting Christ's life before the eyes of men in an imposing manner and showing us the extraordinary story of Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin, and Saint Joseph.
However, there are no movies about Mary Soley based on these books. Wait, I’m in the film business. Why not do it right?
Here’s the vision:
The Ark of the Covenant Trilogy
Ark I: The Nativity during Advent time (2025 Filming to begin in May 2025)
Ark II: The Seven Sorrows for during Lent
Ark III: The Coronation during the Summertime
I love this idea.
Well, unfortunately folks, the movie business is very tough, and they really don’t like free movies. We need some serious donors for a $2m for a pet project. Eventually, I landed a real heavyweight capable of funding the whole thing… a respected Baptist woman whose word is her bond. She’ll fund ideas all the time as long as there is real grassroots support behind it.
I was so excited to tell her this idea, I hope she would be open to it. We talked about things and then it finally came out:
“Catholics are cheap as ! … You’re telling me that your greatest Mother. The Mother of God. The person you go to for help. The person to intercede for you. You rely on her to combat and crush Satan. You can only raise a few thousand dollars?”
So then she gave me a challenge. She will fund all THREE movies about Mary if we Catholics can put up a measly $50K. If we crush the $50k she’ll put even more in. She’s good for it, I trust her.
That’s it everyone, it’s time to put up or shut up.
