Helping Adam Francisco fight kidney failure
Most of you know me from my YouTube channel so you’ve been on the journey with me since March 2022 when I had the worst gout attack of my life which led directly into months of foot and knee problems up until my kidney failure diagnosis (end stage renal disease). The cause of my kidney failure is glomerulonephritis, an autoimmune disease.
For 2.5 years, I did peritoneal dialysis which required me using a dialysis machine every night for 12 hours. Peritoneal dialysis replaces my kidney function by cleaning my blood and removing excess water (as I no longer produce any urine) via the peritoneal membrane. After a rare infection in January (methylobacterium) I had to have my catheter removed to return to in-clinic hemodialysis. I now go to a clinic 3 times a week and sit in a chair for 4 hours a session to have my blood cleaned. They literally remove the blood from my body, clean it in a machine and then return it back to me
As a result of kidney failure, my life is consumed with clinic visits as well as side effects from the disease such as fatigue, exhaustion, blood pressure fluctuations, extended hospitalizations due to infections, etc. I am trying to generate a full time income from YouTube but due to censorship and shadowbanning, they have made it quite difficult, hence, the creation of this GiveSendGo which some of you have asked me to create.
