Humanity is the one species on this planet separated from itself and from the rest of life — and it shows, in the warfare, the economic policies that strip the earth bare, the daily noise engineered to keep us afraid of each other. None of that is natural law. It is learned. And what is learned can be unlearned.
Here is what the heart already knows, even when the mind has been trained to doubt it: love is not a sentiment. It is a creative force — the same force that put each of us here in the first place. Every tradition on this planet, at its root, carries some version of the same story: paradise lost, and paradise able to be regained, once we remember that only love, practiced and not just spoken, can heal a species that has forgotten we are one human family. We are proposing to test that, together, on the largest scale ever attempted.
On Summer Solstice, June 20, 2028 — the day the ancients built monuments, pyramids, and sacred rites to align toward — up to 1,400 Life-honoring Resonance Walkers will physically circle Mato Tipila, the Lakota name for what is now called Devils Tower National Monument, America's first national monument, nine miles from where I live. Many know it from Steven Spielberg's 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind — for anyone too young to have caught it the first time around, it's the movie that first put the idea of first contact with intelligence beyond Earth into the world's imagination, a question Congress itself now takes seriously enough to hold its own hearings on.
Currently over half a million people already travel here every year, drawn to a natural resonance no other sacred site on Earth quite matches.
But the circle won't be limited to those 1,400. Wherever you are — a living room, a mountaintop, a church, a synagogue, a mosque, a temple, any place you already hold sacred — you'll be able to gather your own small circle of lovingly united hearts in prayer, meditation, or sacred silence, and join us live, synchronized to the same moment and the same intention: love from peaceful, life-honoring hearts, living and walking as a prayer, as the healing resonance that restores balance where fear had once taken hold.
It will be filmed and live-streamed, then preserved afterward, so no one who wants to be part of walking this global love-resonance circle is ever left out.
This vision isn't new, and it isn't only Lakota. It is the oldest story every spiritual path on Earth carries in some form: paradise lost, and paradise regained. We ground it here in Crazy Horse's words because this circle will be held on Lakota land, around what the ancient ones called the Tree of Life, and because the Lakota — through visionaries and protectors like him — were among the last peoples on this continent to hold on to nature's healing ways before the forgetting reached everyone:
“Upon suffering beyond suffering, the Red Nation shall rise again and it shall be a blessing for a sick world. A world filled with broken promises, selfishness and separations. A world longing for light again. I see a time of Seven Generations when all the colors of mankind will gather under the Sacred Tree of Life and the whole Earth will become one circle again. In that day, there will be those among the Lakota who will carry knowledge and understanding of unity among all living things and the young white ones will come to those of my people and ask for this wisdom. I salute the light within your eyes where the whole Universe dwells. For when you are at that center within you and I am that place within me, we shall be one.”

The Tree at the center of that vision belongs to no single people. The Norse called it Yggdrasil. The Celts called it Crann Bethadh. Jewish mysticism calls it Etz Chaim. The Maya called it Wakah-Chan. Buddhism calls it the Bodhi Tree — the very tree of awakening. Islamic tradition holds the Sidrat al-Muntaha, the Lote Tree standing at the edge of revelation itself. The Hindu tradition holds Ashvattha, the eternal tree whose roots reach toward heaven. Different roots, different names, the same knowing, carried forward by every people who ever looked at a tree and understood: when humanity heals within, the whole circle mends.
Modern researchers are only now catching up to what these traditions always held as self-evident. In my own weekly blog writings this year, I've traced how thinkers like Dean Radin and Ervin Laszlo — working in consciousness research and systems theory — are independently arriving at a version of the same conclusion the old prophecies encoded: that intention and resonance are not separate from the physical world, they shape it. Researchers with the HeartMath Institute's Global Coherence Initiative have spent years studying whether large groups synchronizing heart rhythms and intention correlate with measurable effects in the wider world — a question still being tested, not yet settled, but one more sign that this old knowing is being taken seriously again, in exactly the generation every tradition pointed to.
Crazy Horse didn't give us a date. He gave us conditions, the same conditions left as breadcrumbs across centuries of prophecy — in the Bible, in stone writings, in sacred sites and edifices built by hands whose names we've long forgotten. We are living inside what all of them pointed toward: a world longing for light, a generation turning back toward the wisdom of the ancestors. Seven generations from his time brings us to this one. Mato Tipila — home to healing prayers laid at its base for uncounted generations — has called nations to lay down weapons and pray together as one human family, for centuries.
On Summer Solstice 2028, it will call us again — not to a concert or a conference, but to a heartful, joyful walk: the fulfillment of what Crazy Horse saw, what John saw on Patmos, what grandmothers in every tradition have held in safekeeping for exactly this generation.
I've carried a small piece of this since childhood — a dream of this very circle, somehow seen by people everywhere at once, decades before such a thing was even possible to imagine. I share it only because it confirmed, long before I had words for it, what every tradition already knew was coming. This was never meant to be mine to hold alone. It only asked to be coaxed forward, one willing heart at a time — and this circle cannot be built by one person. It needs you.
If love really is more powerful than fear — and everything in you already suspects it is — this is the moment, and this is the place, to find out. Not with another argument. With Nature's 4 Steps — Balance, Harmony, Abundance, Peace — walked together, by a species finally remembering itself as one.
