Since 1984, the Kingwood/Humble Area Aggie Moms Club has been serving Aggie students and parents in the Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, Summerwood, Huffman, Porter and New Caney areas. To fundraise, we do everything from bake sales to boutique items, and have hosted an annual Singing Cadets concert for the past few years (and will again on January 7, 2022). For many years, our club has provided scholarships to incoming freshmen, book awards to help with expenses for current students, and financial support to campus-recognized organizations. To expand our scholarship giving, we are raising money to complete our endowed scholarship for current Texas A&M students in our club area. Through these efforts to date, we have set aside $18,000 of the $25,000 necessary to create the endowed scholarship. 2022 is our 40th club anniversary, and we can't think of a better way to celebrate that milestone than by completing our endowed scholarship raise. Once we raise the money, the fund will be managed by the Texas A&M Foundation to create a permanent endowment program for our local Aggies.
Your support towards closing the $7,500 gap would mean the world to us and to our students. These scholarships have made a profound difference in the lives of these students, while also allowing them to contribute positively to the university and their communities. Many of our recipients have gone on to become doctors, engineers, teachers and businesspeople who embody the Aggie core values.
Will you partner with us to turn this goal into a reality? We only need $7,500 more to meet the $25,000 endowment requirement. Any amount you can give will help us toward our goal. We greatly appreciate your consideration of our request. Thanks and Gig Em!
