I can’t believe that I am almost done with my first year of college at Mitchell Community College. I have so really exciting news and I wanted to tell all of you guys because I love you. I have this great opportunity to go to YWAM in Tyler, Texas. YWAM stands for youth with a mission and it’s a missionary and outreach program. That is why I am writing… I’d love for you to be a financial and prayer partner in this experience with me.
For the past few weeks, I have been praying and getting excited for this new experience with YWAM. Since I started college, I have really been struggling with where I was going but once I got accepted to go to YWAM I have felt like I am finally seeing where God is wanting me to go. I believe this is a great opportunity that God is allowing me to be a part of and I am really excited about it. I am excited for all that I will learn in the months leading up to the trip, during the trip, and after I return home. I believe God is going to “do good work in me” as a result of this incredible opportunity.
The YWAM team is all about spreading God's love and helping people around the world. I am hoping to grow in my relationship with God and developing lifelong friendships.
I am so excited to be a part of a team like this! As I prepare for the trip, I need your prayers for safety and God to work in and through me, and I want to humbly ask you to consider supporting me financially. The cost of the discipleship training (DTS) is $3645, around $100 for books, and they also have you choose an elective which is a passions class which is also $100. The cost of the outreach ranges from $1500 to $3500 which can depend on where I do my outreach, plus extra things I will need there or things that are not covered by the rest of the money. Last year I was supposed to go to Israel with Passages, but it got canceled because of covid-19. We raised $1050 and I believe that God provided that money to help pay for YWAM. I have also been putting money into that savings account and it has $1542.55 raised for YWAM so far. Whatever you are able to contribute financially will be a huge blessing and your prayer support is invaluable.
