        This holiday season, the Watchmen wanted to make sure we focused on helping our community beyond standing guard.  Protecting others goes deeper than that.  Our fundraising team decided to focus on the needs of our local Veterans.  WNY Heroes expressed several immediate needs.  There are currently four veterans awaiting service dogs through their program, Pawsitive for Heroes.  We aim to sponsor and provide one of them.  $5000 includes spay/neuter, health insurance for the life of the dog, all of the training to certify him/her as well as for the veteran with his new partner, and the service dog vest.  Additionally, a patch with our New York Watchmen name/logo will be placed onto the vest of the dog for life.
        We could not think of anything more meaningful than being able to provide this opportunity, for the Veteran, the dog, as well as for the very many Veterans that are our fellow Watchmen.  I’m sure you all agree! 
        Please help us reach our goal and make a Veterans Christmas this year a very special one!!  Additionally, 5% of the donations received will be contributed to support Give Send Go, a Christian Based Funding Site that doesn't operate with bias.  They are who Kyle Rittenhouse used after GoFundMe deleted his fundraising campaign.  Share the word about them!
