Every year The Nicavangelists host TCMR (Trucos Caos Maestro Reunión), a Tricking Gathering open free-of-charge to ALL Nicaraguan youth (95% of the kids who come are financially on the bottom). This is an event Nica kids look forward to all year long, and usually involves attendances from international guests who come to speak, teach, judge, etc. This year’s TCMR will be held from the 19th until the 21st of February and our international guests include gymnastics coach Colleen from New York and words on love speaker Pastor Dan from New Jersey.
At TCMR, the youths enjoy nutritious meals, participate in small group devotions, play games, are involved in healthy/team building (drug and alcohol free) nighttime activities, learn in small group Tricking classes, as well as compete in Tricking “battles” and lap-up a frivolous day of fun at the beach.
Some kids bus for a day or two to reach TCMR. Some walk a 10km round-trip daily just to attend. Highlights have been when youths share how they made decisions and followed through at TCMR on giving up weed, booze, sniffing glue, etc. Trucos Caos Maestro Reunión is an opportunity of a lifetime to help change lives for the better.
The conditions for entry into TCMR are parental permission, adherence to The Nicavangelists’ strict rules and standards of conduct, and a heart wanting to learn and grow. No hanky-panky permitted.
TCMR is hosted by The Nicavangelists Street Tricking School.
Please consider supporting Trucos Caos Maestro Reunión. Based on previous TCMR attendance, we are anticipating upwards of 100 youths. We would like to cover ALL expenses including the meals ($300), bus trip to the beach ($300), rewards & recognition ($600… we plan to give every child a t-shirt, offer prizes, medals and certificates for winners), etc. Our goal is to have 100 people sponsor 100 Nicaraguan youths at just $12 each (For all meals, transportation, prizes, etc.).
