Julia Aglieco is a vibrant, precocious, sweet girl with a fun sense of humor who brings delight to all who know her.  She loves playing outside, reading, riding her bike, and having adventures with her parents, three brothers, and sister.

Julia was a strong and active 9-year-old in October 2020 when she was diagnosed with cancer, an atypical Wilm's tumor which had metastasized to her lungs.  Protocols for Wilms's tumor involve 31 weeks of aggressive treatment including 10 cycles of chemotherapy.   Julia has inspired and amazed us with her positive attitude and forbearance throughout her diagnostic testing, mass removal surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and blood transfusions.  She is a bright light in the hospital and a favorite of the nurses.

Julia's extensive treatments have yielded a heavy financial toll on Julia's family, as insurance only pays 75% of the cost of treatment.  Please consider making a donation to help alleviate some of the stress on the Aglieco family during this difficult time.
