Hello,
This is not easy to write or ask. Our beloved Krista has pancreatic cancer.
About Krista:
If you don't know her, Krista is one of the most amazing people you could know. She is always thinking of others and would never want to "inconvenience" anyone with things about her self. That's where we come in. We need to rally. The goal is to maintain her quality of life as long as possible, so she can continue to be a beloved, wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and so much more. Krista loves the Lord and knows her future is in God's hands, but all of us can benefit from a little extra hope. We are all in this together.
Here are a few things about how amazing Krista is:
- She has taught 1st grade at Woodland Elementary (in Methacton school district) for years. She is passionate about her work, education, and her students.
- She is an active member of Fairview Village Church. She is involved in the youth group, and started the basketball league of which she is the only woman to attend - because of her love for basketball.
- She has four amazing children - ages 13, 15, 17, and 19. They deserve to share every loving moment with their mother.
As you know, medical treatment is expensive, and in many cases unaffordable. Krista will be going to the Gerson clinic and is currently on a strict organic nutrition regiment, in addition to supplements, and other treatments. This is hard. This is all very costly.
Please note: This original account was established by her husband Matt, however, it will be monitored by immediate family and friends, to allow for flexibility of others to support her and accompany her to appointments.
Please give and share. If you are unable, please pray.
Comment from a family member: Krista embodies family and family values. She is the most like her late grandmother, showing compassion and love to all. There is no one unworthy of her unconditional love. Krista has never thought of herself. I hope people now can think about Krista.
