Joe a high school math teacher for 23 years with 6 years left for retirement has lost his job for posting on Facebook what he saw on the news. On May 31st he watched looters on TV running from store to store stealing TV's and whatever they could grab and police trying to stop them with rubber bullets.
 
A former student of school took a screen shot of post and labeled him a racist. She used social media to incite hatred against Joe. This person was able to encourage other people to go to school board and media to make complaint of racism against Joe.

The school district eventually forced Joe's resignation. Joe was not financially able to wage a first amendment battle against them. Joe has personally incurred $30,000 in legal bills to date. Joe has lost 6 years of retirement contributions had he continued to teach along with corresponding retirement benefits. Joe has also lost his health insurance he had through school district.

In short a woke, liberal mob of 8-12 kids were able to destroy a 23 year teaching career. They took away Joe's job, health insurance, future employability, hampered greatly his retirement,  ruined his reputation and future employability.

It’s very unfortunate when someone can twist the minds of so many people and only spread more hatred instead of trying to be mature and let it go. No one should have to pay so much for such a small mistake.
