I am excited to share that from January 11- July 12, 2021, I will be heading on a long-term mission trip. I will be teaming up with Heaven Sent Ministries to spend three months in Nairobi, Kenya and three months in Bethlehem, Israel. Heaven Sent Ministries is an organization with a heart for sharing the message of Jesus Christ and serving people.
Starvation is one of the biggest issues that effects the city of Nairobi and while there we will be providing food to those who are struggling. We will also be spending time in the local orphanages caring for the children, providing food and resources and most of all loving on those most precious to God. Additionally, we will be visiting the local prisons and ministering to the prisoners. Many times, prisoners are the ones most forgotten and pushed aside so I am especially excited to be involved in bringing hope to dark places.
While in Israel we will be sharing the love of Christ with the poor and marginalized of the Holy Land. We will also rebuild ruined houses, deliver aid, food, clothing, and Bibles. We will not only be walking where Jesus walked, but how Jesus walked.
As you can probably tell, it’s going to be a full 6 months of listening to, learning from and loving on the people we meet in both Kenya and Israel, and there is going to be a great opportunity for growth for all of us involved.
I would love it if you would pray for this mission trip experience. Pray for all of the missionaries stationed with Heaven Sent Ministries who will be there during those 6 months, that we would be open to learning from the community we are visiting and grow in unity as a group and in intimacy with Jesus. Pray for those who will be leading us. Pray also for the community members who we will meet, that we could love and honor them well and that their hearts would be open to receive our service and the love and beauty of Jesus and His plan and purpose for their lives. Finally, pray for me, that I would experience this time of service with a humble heart, that I would run with endurance and love well.

The same love and light that drew me out of a life I was never meant to live and into true living, with Jesus as the cornerstone, is the same love and light He has called me and many others to share to all the corners of the earth. He has called me to be that light, that patience, kindness, love, and steadfast revelation of the heart of the Father. Even if you don't choose to give, just know that He is calling you too! You were made in the image of God, to be a refleciton of Heaven, just as Jesus walked, so shall we. Amen!

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did it for me.’ (Matthew 25:34-40)
