First and foremost, we are forever grateful to our Heavenly Father for His grace, strength and provision. "So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
As many of you are now aware, Scott had an accident at work on Thursday, November 4, which resulted in the loss of his right index finger. He has had two operations since that day. We trust that God will use this experience to be glorified, as well as show Scott more of what he is created for.
That being said, it has been a very difficult two months for the Romanoski Family. In the month of October, they had Covid go through their home, so Scott lost weeks of work prior to the accident, which began the downward spiral that put them in the spot that they are in financially. And now -- needless to say -- Scott has not been able to work and will not be able to begin working again until sometime in December, Lord willing.
In addition to this accident, the flu has been making its way through the house this month, so Cheryl has not been able to work, either.
There is a long road of adjustment ahead and a mound of medical bills have begun to pour in, along with all of their regular bills. The monthly payment for health insurance when self employed is more than an average mortgage payment, and the coverage is awful, to say the least. So they have to pay very high co-pays, and because they did not meet their $6,000 deductible, they will have to pay out of pocket for the surgeons' and anesthesiologists' fees as well as the ambulance cost of over $1,000.
In an effort to help bear some of the financial burdens for Scott and his family, I am offering friends and family--and any who feel compelled and called to help--the opportunity to donate, financially. Your gift is greatly appreciated and will bring some comfort to this family in such a difficult time as this, which will help tremendously with Scott's recovery.
Even if you cannot give financially, please pray for Scott, Cheryl and their kids. That would be most appreciated!
Please know that giving here is of no cost to Scott's family, as every cent is fully gifted to them. Unlike other online benefit accounts, there is no charge by "GIVE SEND GO" for this service of great convenience. How wonderful is that?!
Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving with your families!
