Hey Everyone! Hyland Family here again.
As we now start to settle into our new schedules and finding new stuff to do and take care of, we want to say thanks for your continued prayers. We definitely feel them and are starting the healing process slowly. Minute by minute is what we keep being told. That has helped.
We continue to give God thanks for all of you and your donations and your prayers. We couldn't have gotten through this without any of you. Please continue to pray for healing, especially foe Landon's brother. He is having a hard time.
we appreciate you guys! Hugs.
The Hyland family
Just a quick update from The Hyland family here. We want to say thank you for all of your support in every capacity in which we received it. You all are amazing from meal trains, that continue on still today, to your prayers. All of it is SO gracious and we really can't express our love and appreciation for all of you who have gone far beyond what we could ever have imagined.
The last two weeks have been a whirlwind and honestly we can't even believe it has been 2 weeks already since We held Landon, talked to Landon, heard his voice telling us that he loves us or even saying goodnight and sleep tight. It's been two weeks but it seems like an eternity to us.
There are many ways we can continue to heal and push forward. And We are choosing to remember Landon and celebrate Him for all he was and all he did. To remember his love, his laugh and giggles, his ticklish feet and smelly farts. He was definitely a boy that did boy things. But Landon was SO independent and so very much coming into his own at just one month into his 13th year of life.
He had so much to learn, yet learned so much in the short life of his. He had so much to look forward to but yet he enjoyed each day. He was truly an amazing kid. He was a brat at times and then he was angelic. His soft skin and sweet kisses are missed. Everything is different now but a lot of good has come out of this tragedy including many blessings. So his life is celebrated and thankfully, his passing is not in vain. For that, we are thankful.
As a family, we truly love you all. We are truly blessed to have had Landon, but also to have your prayers and support during this delicate time. Words will never be enough to express our deepest gratitude. May you all have stored treasures in heaven.
Kai, Nicole and Alexander
It's been a week since our little guy went to be with Jesus. We have been so blessed by the police officers, our neighbors and so many friends and family members and strangers. We cannot express our love and appreciation for those who have surrounded us in prayer, in love, through condolences, and in laughter. We have been so greatly blessed by God and can't imagine going through this without him. Landon is missed but we know Jesus is holding him tight. We can't ask for anything more. Thank you for your prayers and support. We appreciate our Caldwell, ID community and those who have sent prayers from across the country along with donations. We love you all!
