After 20 faithful years of serving as a Deacon, Sunday School director, Master Clubs leader and in countless other ministries, Pastor Pat Misciagna was ordained 2 short years ago as Pastor of First Bible Church of New Jersey.

On June 9th, Pat and Danielle's 16 year old son, Christian, was diagnosed with Leukemia.

With countless unforseen medical expenses, in addition to the financial strain on such a young church, the Misciagna's are certainly in need of our help!

In addition to your prayers, please consider contributing generously to this precious family as they face one the biggest trials of their lives!

Pastor Pat Misciagna, and his wife Danielle have continually been there for so many.  Let's be there for them!  Please pray that God heals Christian and that The Lord would get the glory!

"Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?
The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him."

Proverbs 20:6-7

Update from Pat & Danielle;

We’re sitting in Sloan…and I asked the Lord for a token for good, for some good news today.  The doctor—who were not slated to see—came out to tell us that Christian has a rare mutation in his leukemia but a GOOD mutation that responds very well to therapy.  So in the doctor’ own words, “I was already very optimistic, but now I am even more optimistic.”  Thank you, Lord Jesus!

Update from Pat & Danielle;

Praise the Lord, CJ was discharged from the hospital to complete this round of treatment on an outpatient basis at Sloan.  The doctor said this was the earliest she’d ever released a patient his age during induction.  That is a testimony to the power of God & the prayers of God’s people.  We’re settling into the routine now of going to Sloan twice a week, once for labs (which were great this week) and once for treatment.  Thank you all for support, love, & prayers.  Please pray the Lord would send CJ’s leukemia into remission at the end of induction (which ends in a few weeks).  So far, all indicators are promising & the doctors have said there is no more leukemia in his bloodstream.  Glory to God!  Most of all, pray our family does not waste this heartache and whatever big picture Jesus Christ wants from us is worked out for His glory.

Update from Pat & Danielle;

“I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again” (Phil 4:10).

We praise the Lord for all the prayers, love, & support you have shown us during this time. Christian is doing well & responding to treatment, by the grace of God. Please pray that his leukemia goes into remission by the end of this round. Most importantly, we don’t want to miss the big picture of what God is doing as he shapes our little boy into the Lord’s man & perfects our family for His glory.
