In Memory of Barb Opfer

 God called his most beloved and devoted daughter, Barbara Ann Opfer, 69, formerly of Sandusky, home in the early morning hours of May 7, 2020. Barb excelled as a teacher and mentor to students and colleagues alike. She taught at the junior high and high school levels in numerous Catholic schools.
 When her health issues overtook her abilities in the classroom, Barbara did not give up. She shifted her focus to serving her brothers and sisters in the communities in which she lived. Despite her pain, she faced life with a smile, sacrificing her own needs for those of others.   And to offset any medical costs accrued, we are conducting a fundraiser to assist the Opfer family in their time of need. We also wanted to establish an annual "Barbara Ann Scholarship," given to both junior and senior in Catholic schools at Ohio who displayed all of teacher's greatest values; integrity, selfless service, personal courage, and compassion. The family is devastated at the loss of their beloved and cherished granny, mother, wife, and sister. Thank you so much for your support.
