Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! My name is Sue and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. I am fundraising to build a safe and loving home for the children at Light of Hope Children’s Ministry (LOHO) located in the Nakaseke District in Uganda. Currently, we are sheltering 40 children but their living space is far too small. The children are crowded into very small rooms which barely fit triple bunk beds on each wall! Because of this, the landlord has asked us to find another place for these children to live. Additionally, the Ugandan government has mandated that we cannot house so many children in such a small space making the need for a new home all the more urgent. Relocating our big family would be extremely difficult and we need your support to build a new, permanent home for these children.

Our goal is to raise $82,000 to make this dream a reality. We already own two acres of land to build on. Now all we need are the funds to build the home!

Our mission at Light of Hope Children's Ministries is to care for orphans and disabled children in need—those whom God has entrusted to us. At LOHO, we provide not just shelter but also food, clothing, education, and medical help, along with the hope and love of Jesus Christ!
