Andrew and Tristan Tate sued us for expressing opinions and sharing information from court documents.

Our original case was dismissed in December 2025 due to lack of personal jurisdiction, improper service, and because the court ruled that unnamed defendants could not be sued in Florida state court.

However, it’s not over and our fight continues.

1. They filed a motion to reconsider the decision and were denied
2. They filed an appeal, then voluntarily withdrew it
3. They verbally requested that the case be stayed (temporarily paused), and were denied
4. Their written request to stay the case was denied

Now, they have filed a Second Amended Complaint against the named defendants in the original lawsuit.

They have also filed an Appeal in an attempt to reverse the trial court’s decision prohibiting them from suing unnamed defendants.

Additionally, they filed a lawsuit against X (Twitter) in an attempt to unmask anonymous defendants, using our dismissed case and making the same arguments the judge already rejected. We have appeared in this lawsuit to defend ourselves and oppose their attempt to unmask those of us who are anonymous.

What we shared includes court records, alleged victim and witness statements from criminal cases involving allegations of human trafficking, organized crime, and rape, along with the Tate brothers' own public videos and posts where they describe recruiting and profiting from women in the sex industry. We also shared opinions based on those facts. Now they’re using the courts in a way that we believe is meant to intimidate, crush citizen journalism, and unmask anonymous accounts so those individuals can be targeted and harassed.

Some of us are parents. Some of us are survivors of abuse by others. Some are citizen journalists. We shared facts from court records and our commentary. We shared opinions. Now they want to silence us. But this legal battle isn’t just about us. In our view, it's about everyone's right to speak openly, report on matters of public record, and express informed opinions without fear of retaliation.

We’re raising $70,000 to cover our legal defense. That includes attorney fees, court filings, and the cost of fighting a multi-defendant lawsuit we believe is meant to silence and financially drain us.

WHAT THEY’VE BEEN FORMALLY CHARGED WITH AND ACCUSED OF INCLUDES:

In Romania, across two criminal cases, Andrew and Tristan Tate have been formally charged with various offenses, including human trafficking, trafficking minors, engaging in sex acts with a minor, rape, organized crime, witness tampering, inciting violence, and money laundering. Prosecutors have identified 42 alleged victims, including three minors.

In the UK, criminal charges have been authorized by the Crown Prosecution Service for allegations of human trafficking, rape, actual bodily harm, and controlling prostitution.

There is also a UK civil case in which four women allege that Andrew Tate sexually assaulted and raped them. That trial was originally scheduled for June 2026. However, there may be a postponement due to a criminal investigation involving Andrew Tate regarding the same women in this civil case.

In the US, they are named in two civil lawsuits. One includes claims of sexual assault. The other alleges malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, defamation per se, and civil conspiracy.

WHAT THIS LAWSUIT IS REALLY ABOUT:

We believe it's about silencing anyone who shares verified information or speaks out online. If they win, it won’t stop here. It sets a dangerous precedent for free speech, journalism, and every person who uses their voice to speak the truth or share their opinion. They want to scare people into silence.
