Hi! We’re Kenny & Claire. We are a husband and wife worship duo based in Nashville, TN. We are passionate about theologically rich and doctrinally sound music for the church. We are excited to share with you about our TWO new projects and how you can be a part!

We’ve divided this fundraising campaign into 3 goals:

Goal 1 ($37,000): Record a full-length album

of rewritten hymns, original songs based on Scripture or deeply rooted in Scripture, along with well-loved hymns.

Goal 2 ($47,000): Record a 5 song Christmas EP

Once the funds for the full-length album are raised, each additional $2,000 will go towards recording a Christmas single. Once the funds for 5 singles are raised ($10,000), we will release a Christmas EP!

Goal 3 ($60,000): Album Promotion

(aka THE ULTIMATE VINYL STRETCH GOAL!)

Once the funds for both the full-length album and Christmas EP are raised, we’ll use additional funds to help the music reach audiences across the world! When we make it to $60,000 donors who have pledged at or above the $100:ULTIMATE MERCH PACKAGE will receive a copy of our new album on vinyl!!

THE FULL-LENGTH ALBUM

Our first goal is to create a full-length album of theologically rich and doctrinally sound songs we’ve composed, lesser-known hymns that we’ve rewritten, along with our renditions of well-loved hymns.

THE STORY BEHIND THE ALBUM

In 2021 we released our first album, Are You Weary, a 5 song EP of theologically rich and doctrinally sound hymns that have mostly fallen out of use in today’s church. We rewrote those hymns into new songs so that the truths within them would continue to serve the church. Since Are You Weary’s release, we've traveled throughout the United States to share these songs directly with churches and other venues. We’ve intentionally tried to encourage congregational singing using familiar songs while we shared our original music. We’ve also served churches by leading conferences and seminars on Worship Theology, as well as songwriting.

We have been blown away by the response to Are You Weary and count it a great honor that these songs have been able to come alongside so many. During our concerts we have often shared our story of how Kenny’s experience with a brain tumor, a genetic disorder, and an autoimmune disease have greatly affected our lives. We’ve found great comfort from songs that point our hearts towards the direct promises of God's Word. This is a huge reason why we’re passionate about making songs that help listeners internalize God Word and point towards hope in Jesus.

THE CHRISTMAS EP

We’ve shared an annual Christmas Tour for the past three years but don’t have any of our Christmas music recorded. We’d love to make an EP of Christ-centered Christmas hymns as well as music that we’ve written.

OUR TEAM

We are thrilled to work with Grammy-award winning engineer and producer, Mitch Dane, to record both the full-length album and Christmas EP! Mitch has worked with an incredible line of artists including Jars of Clay, JJ Heller, Jenny & Tyler, The Young Fables, and many more. Mitch is already working to help us put together a team for this project. We are honored to get to work with him!

GIVESENDGO

We’ve decided to use the fundraising platform GiveSendGo to raise money for our project. GiveSendGo is unique in that it is a faith-based fundraising platform and they do not charge creators for their services. That means that 100% of donations goes toward our work (minus the normal transaction fees). For every donation given to us through GiveSendGo there is an option to give an additional amount to support their platform.

TIMELINE

Our ULTIMATE GOAL is to raise a total of $60,000 to make a full length album, a 5-Song Christmas EP, and to spread the word about the projects (plus if we make it to $60k everyone at the $100 and up tier receives a vinyl record of the new album!)! We are scheduled to record the full-length album in March when we meet our minimum fundraising goal of $37,000! We are expecting to release the full-length album AND Christmas EP in 2024! We’ll keep you updated along the way!

RISKS

There are risks to fundraising an album independently. In the event that we are not able to reach our minimum funding goal of $37,000, we will be unable to fulfill the rewards as promised.
