NASHVILLE, TN -– After 14 years off the road, the legendary SONS OF TENNESSEE, are back with a fresh musical offering.  Known as “America’s Riding and Singing Cowboys” they toured the US and Canada for nearly two decades, performing atop three golden Palomino horses, from theater stages, to rodeos, festivals, fairs and with symphony orchestras. Now the Runquist family is passing the torch to a new generation, including their nine grandchildren to form The Sons Of Tennessee Family Singers and record this new song  with the High Plains Orchestra.

We have always been a ‘flag waving’ patriotic family', said George Runquist grandfather and founder of the group, who still sings both lead and harmony, and is the composer of this song. 

The group's history of blending music with patriotism runs deep. George's wife Cheryl has written many songs including ‘She’s More Than Just Another Flag’ which was utilized by the 'Sons' as the opening production for many professional rodeos; a heartfelt finale for the family's live shows; and on their 'One Nation Under God' album. 

Now, with a full symphonic arrangement and recorded in a music key for easy sing-alongs, "Sing God Bless America Again" invites both adults and children to come together and lift their voices in song.

Projects for the future (when we have the funds).

1. Create patriotic companion videos to help share the message on visual media and broadcasts, plus videos for churches to use as choirs sing with the symphony tracks....or with their own musicians for special services.

2. Record songs, with similar formats. both traditional and patriotic, utilizing 'multiple age singers 'to help inspire and instill the 'love of our great country' across generations.

3. Create new music tracks; band, orchestra and vocal arrangements, for churches and other groups to use.

4. Design and provide promotional materials (both print and electronic) to support musical, patriotic and other events in perpetuating the "spirit of America".

4.  Join with 'like minded organizations' and wholesome sponsors in presenting special 'family oriented' concerts and 'festivities'.  The events would utilize the talents of both local participants (churches, schools, colleges) along with touring performers.

This is only the beginning of a long list of ideas and goals that can be accomplished with the blessings of God, proper support staff and financial support.  Let's join hand in hand and 'get America Singing Again' !
